On Friday April 17th I went out to Fruitland, ID to a farm that my cousin Cherise's husband Karl grew up on and his parents still live on. They raise beefalo and chikens. Before we left I made sure to take some Claritin, since I discovered last summer that I'm allergic to hay and most farms are abounding in hay. So with the Claritin in my system and a 45 min drive later we arrived at the farm. It was nice to get out and walk again. Cherise and Karl were already outside and greeted everyone that came with a hug. We found out that right before we got there a calf had been born and the placenta was still dropping. I gave my mom the camera and she got as close as she could and took some pictures. After a while we all decided to move on and get a tour of the farm. Karl took some of us girls into the chicken coop and let us bring in the eggs since none had been collected for a couple days, and to bring in the eggs we used our shirts just like they use to do in the olden days only they at least had aprons on to protect their clothes. After doing that we went over to the tire swing they had there and some of us took turns being pushed. It was so much fun. I was pushed by my cousin Jake and it felt like he was going to kill me with has hard as he was pushing and how crooked I was going, a couple times I almost hit the tree, but then he would try to straighten me out again. Here's some pictures from the farm:
This it the beefalo the had the calf, you can see the placenta hanging out.

After the farm, I went with Mom and Dad to go visit Dad's Aunt Bernice and Uncle Harvey, considering they lived right there in Fruitland, practically just around the corner, that was fun then after visiting with them we went and got lunch and then headed home. We only spent a little time at home before heading back out to Fruitland for Cherise's and Karl's reception. That was lots of fun I really enjoyed the time there especially getting to talk to all Cherise's siblings that were there. After the reception I went out to a bonfire with Ben and Sara for our friend Jesse Campbell who was leaving for basic training. While I was at the bonfire Tim gave me a call and we talked until I was back at Ben and Sara's place, where I spent the night.
