Monday the 27th we woke up and took down Tim's parents Christmas tree and cleaned up their house. I didn't do much seeing how I don't actually live there and never have, but tried my best to help Tim get his and Aj's room cleaned up and help Tim's sisters decide what they did and didn't want anymore in the way of clothes and shoes. This actually took them most of the day so when I wasn't helping them I would read my book or blogs of friends and family.
Tuesday the 28th we didn't do to much mostly just relaxing around the house, I've spent lots of time reading either my book or blogs. I like going back and reading from the very beginning of the blog so I've been doing that a lot lately. but it's a good thing, I figured I should do that more then watch t.v especially with the list of books I want to read. I have been trying to find myself a pair of cute black boots and this is proving difficult, every time I find a pair I like they don't have my size :( I'm hoping that I'll find a pair eventually, especially since I live in Rexburg having a pair of boots in a few different colors is very useful. So I did spend sometime online looking seeing how I've been feel yucky while here and don't feel like wondering forever looking.
Wednesday the 29th we woke up and packed up and headed to the beach. We stayed in a beach house that's in Rockaway Beach which is outside of Tillamock, OR. once we got to the house and got our stuff unpacked we all got ready and walk on the beach for a while and it was very windy, I was thinking it was going to be that way the whole time, it was cool to see how the waves looked with the wind. After we were done we went back and had dinner. Watched Ice Age and then played five crowns together.
Thursday the 30th we woke up and had breakfast and then went for a walk on the beach. After a while we headed back and got showered. Then I read my book for a little bit. Tim's mom decided she wanted to got to some other beaches that were up the coast so we got ready and most of us ended up going there together. It was fun to be at another beach and see how pretty it was too and to see all the muscles and barnacles on the rock there. After a while we went back to the beach house and had dinner. Then we watched Ice Age 2 the meltdown and then Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs. We made kettle corn that night before each movie and it was so yummy. I'm a little addicted to that stuff, so it's a good thing I don't have a good pan to make any in at home. I'll admit when I thought of my first anniversary, a day spent with my in-laws wasn't what I had in mind, but it was still good since I had my husband there with me.
Friday the 31st we woke up, had breakfast, and then after getting ready, went down to Tillamock and went to the cheese factory. afterwards we went to Fred Meyers and did some shopping the went to another town closer to Rockaway Beach for a late lunch. Once we got back there, Tim, Aj, and I went out on the beach to do some more walking and exploring, there was a second bar of sand open and so we had some fun trying to make our way over there seeing how the ocean was going through between the first bar and second kind of like a little river. Aj and I managed to make it over there right as the tide was coming back in some, blocking the path we and taken. The reason we made it over is because we had rain boots on so trekking through the water was too big of a deal unless it was above our rain boots. Tim just had his tennis shoes so he was trying to hop across on bare parts but wasn't too successful before the tide was coming in. after we were done we went back and had some time to kill so Tim and I watched star wars 3 together. then afterwards went down stairs and had some dinner and then Tim watched stargate with his dad and brother i watched a little bit but mostly read my book. after that everyone was ready for bed so Tim and i went back upstairs and watched a show on his laptop waiting for midnight. once the show was over it was almost midnight so to past time i had Tim teach me the alphabet in Portuguese which was fun and actually went past midnight but luckily i noticed and told him happy new year before we were done.
Saturday January 1st we woke up and had breakfast then got everything packed up, and cleaned up and headed back to Vancouver. Once back we just chilled around their house for quite a while. Tim took me out on a date to see Despicable Me and then we went to get same food from Carl's Jr.
Sunday the 2nd we woke and got ready for and went to church afterwards we came back and had dinner together then just relaxed around the house together.
