Our Easter weekend was lots of fun! It started out on Saturday morning with us going over to our friends Greg and Becca Rowe's place to dye eggs, we even blew out some eggs, rinsed, and filled with Jello. We then left to go to our ward BBQ which was actually at our apartment complex where we have a nice grass area. I talked to our friends and ate some food, while Tim spent most of the time "pretending" to throw a football around (his words not mine), playing ultimate Frisbee, and kicking around a soccer ball. It was so nice outside that none of us really wanted to leave and really the only reason it broke up is everyone that hadn't left earlier, had babies that were in dire need of naps. Tim went fishing with our good friend Jonathan Dennet and after going back to the Rowe's to help Becca sew a dress together for her daughter, I hung out at home. Until Lindsey Dennet text me to see if I was willing to join her to go to K-mart, I said yes and so off we went. It was fun walking around, and the boys even came and met up with us there. Afterwards we went back to our respective homes, Tim and I decided to watch Yogi Bear and decided that we wanted homemade pizza for dinner, so we went to his sister's apartment to pick up our pizza pan. But by the time we got back it was to late to start pizza and so we just ended up grabbing some thing quick and then watched Yogi Bear.
Sunday started out with me making attempting to make some yummy pancakes. Tim made up the batter and then I added a cinnamon roll mixture to the individual pancakes, when I tried to flip them I did not have much success batter went everywhere, so luckily Tim was willing to take over that part. I went Visiting Teaching that morning, after breakfast, and once I got back and while Tim was in the I hid some eggs for Tim to find. It was lots of fun watching him try to find them, I didn't get to fully watch him because I was working on doing my hair. After he found them all and we were finish getting ready, we went to church, which was good as always. After church we made some rolls for dinner and then went over to our other good friends' place Emily and Kevin Bradley, where the Dennets joined us and had our Easter dinner. It was very yummy and you could tell we hadn't given it much thought because most of the food didn't necessarily go together but it tasted good. Plus Rexburg weather decided to cooperate again so we were able to eat outside and enjoy the nice weather. After dinner we all talked for a while, the Dennets had to leave early because their little boy was ready for dinner, we had just given him bits of rolls, and bed. Tim and I stayed for a while at the Bradley's because Tim was fixing their computer and we ended up watching Monsters Inc. while he did that which was so fun, little Boo is so cute. Once he had done as much as he could muster before we were all tired we left and went home.
I'm so thankful for the good friends that Tim and I have been able to make and have here in Rexburg, the two we hang out with the most are close to graduating and that makes us very sad, but luckily there are others here that we're getting to know and hopefully we will be able to have good times until we too leave this delightful town. ;)
