Wow I got way behind on Updating, mostly because I started crocheting a baby boy blanket and that has consumed all my free time. I want to get it done and a girl one by the time we find out what we're having. Otherwise whatever our baby is blanket will be the only one that actually gets done :)
A couple weekends ago the 24-26 we had lots of fun just hanging out with friends and relaxing at home. Friday night wasn't anything exciting, just us hanging out at our apartment.
Saturday Tim's sister came over to do laundry which she does every other week. It's lots of fun while she's here, mostly we just watch a movie together and she works on homework. Our friends the Bradley's came over to see if our old wireless router would work for them and Tim ended up going over there to help them install it. I went over shortly there after when it was close to Brittany leaving. Emily and I talked while the boys worked and she organized. It was so much fun just sitting around talking for a while with a good friend. After the boys discovered the router wasn't going to work, we all ended up talking for a while and decided to go to Applebee's for dinner. I was really craving the spinach artichoke dip so we got that plus burgers, I was stuffed after the dip so I took home the leftovers. After dinner we all sat outside and played Trivial Pursuit Genius Addition for like the 80's. That was interesting we didn't know half the answers and decided we need to invest in a more current version or even the Disney version. We all went to Wal-mart and Albertsons together too, Emily and Kevin got a new router from Wal-mart and so Tim helped Kevin get it running, with much better success. While they did that Emily and I chatted again and some delicious Tillamook ice cream.
Sunday wasn't very exciting, I had visiting teaching that morning before church and then we went to church. After church Tim had home teaching and his companion wasn't available so I ended up going with him, I'm glad I did the couple we taught that nice are very friendly and we discovered we both like doing some of the same things. Getting new friends here is always a bonus :) especially with two of our good friends getting ready to graduate and move away in the next 9 months. :( We love living here and being able to do our own thing with friends each weekend, but do miss time with our families as well.
