This past weekend really wasn't too exciting for us.
Friday started out pretty boring for me, Tim had a group project to do after work and so I was stuck at home to entertain myself. Thankfully I had Gilmore Girls to keep me company. He was also thankfully only gone for a hour so we were able to spend the evening together. We decided to go get a 5 buck pizza from Little Ceasers and rent a movie from Redbox. It was the perfect date night in. The movie was Red Riding Hood and that was interesting to say the least, after it was over we watched some more Gilmore Girls and cuddled together before heading to bed.
Saturday, we slept in and after waking up and having some breakfast I worked on homework for a little bit. Tim's sister Brittany came over to do laundry and while she was waiting in between loads she helped us organize the nursery, which was very very needed. We were able to put all the clothes he'll need at first in his dresser and put all the other clothes away in boxes to be stored until later. The room really just needs the biggest essential thing the crib put in it and everything should be able to be in order! It's so fun organizing a nursery! After we were done organizing we watched a little Gilmore Girls while eating a very late lunch. Tim and I then went out to do some grocery shopping and then went over and watched Talmage for a little bit. Always so much fun, that kid has so much energy, but I love it! After we were done there, we went and wondered around Broulims because we remembered we needed to return the Redbox, and I was kind of hungry but couldn't decided what I wanted exactly. So we spent lots of time wondering up and down the aisle and store. Luckily Tim was very patient with me, love that boy a lot. We went back home and you guessed it watched some more Gilmore Girls. (once i start I can't stop watching that show until it's over)
Sunday we again slept in but not nearly as late especially with the time change. :) once we woke up though we still laid in bed just relaxing. I went visiting teaching around 11 and then came back and got all ready for church. Church was great, the nursery kids were so fun, like always. After church we came home and went over to Brittany's, she made meatloaf, and Tim loves it so much. We brought some of it home, because Brittany was having some boys over to eat. ;) Once home Tim made some other food to go with the meatloaf and then we had dinner. I talked to my mom and dad for a while on Skype, which I'm so glad we have that option. After talking to them, I finished some homework and then Tim and I just cuddled together again watching some Gilmore Girls.
I'm very thankful that Tim and I have the opportunity to spend this time together before our son comes, because I know that it will be different once he is here. :)
