This past weekend Tim and I headed out of town. It was so nice to get a break from Rexburg for a little bit.
We left Thursday after Tim was done with work and I was done with a test. It was so nice to get there in only two hours driving time. :) I love mom and dad's new house, it definitely made me excited for when Tim and I can make that leap! Thursday when we got there was just spent enjoying time together.
Friday we woke up early, I worked on homework and Tim was great and helped Dad do things around the house. We even went out on a walk/geocaching in the afternoon. Kenneth seemed to enjoy the walk and it was fun to see Tim look for the cache it didn't take me long to find it, but Tim it took quite sometime. After our walk, mom was back from work and we all headed to the store to get somethings so we could make dinner for everyone. By the time we were back from there Liz, Joe, Ben, Sara, Grandpa, and all the kids were there. It was so much fun to all be together again! Our friends Cody and Jayme even stopped by mom and dad's house it was so fun to see them again!
Saturday was a pretty good day as well. We woke up early again. Dad made omelets for breakfast!!!!! Thank you Dad! So yummy. After breakfast, mom, Elizabeth, and I ran to Children's World, they had some of the cutest clothes there! If Tim and I have a little girl and mom and dad live there we're so going there to get some dresses! We then hurried back and got back in time for Conference. After that session was over we ate lunch, celebrated Asher's birthday and then Tim, Kenneth, and I headed to Boise. Tim's family enjoyed getting to see Kenneth, and I got to work on my math test and thankfully turned it in before it was due that night. That night we did not sleep as well as normal. Kenneth was off and woke up more then he normally does.
Sunday we spent all day at Tim's grandparents. We had a good time and even got to meet Aj's (Tim's brother) girlfriend. She was so nice and I enjoyed meeting her. After we had eaten dinner we headed back to mom and dad's for the night. Once there we ate some dinner and it was so so yummy! I certainly missed my dad's cooking! We enjoyed time with mom and dad until they went to bed. I worked on my project and then went to bed.
Monday morning we woke up early again, so that we could enjoy time with mom before she headed to work. After mom went to work dad held Kenneth for a while and then after a while we headed back to Rexburg so that I could make it to my class.
Seeing mom and dad's house made it seem all so real that they're actually here. I'm loving that they're so close. They'll get to see Kenneth and I am so happy that he'll know his grandparents.
