Weekend Fun

This last weekend started a little early for me. I left Thursday to go see a friend from High School that was visiting in Pocatello. It was so good to see her for a few hours! Since I was in Pocatello I decided to drive the other hour to my parents house. Have I mentioned how much I love them being close, because I just love love love it! Once I got there mom was surprised to see me, Dad knew I was coming but he of course didn't tell mom about it. Kenneth was looking all cute for his grandparents in the outfit Mom had bought him the last time we were there. :) Mostly that day and the next I just enjoyed hanging out at their place and being able to talk with my dad a lot since he doesn't have a job yet. It was nice to have that interaction. Also Friday while there I organized my parents movies for them, per dad's request. I was always the one that did it growing up and so of course they had me do it now. That night Mom, Dad, and I went to get shakes at the Pit Stop near Delco, they were very good shakes!
Saturday, when we woke up, I got most of our things ready and packed up to go back home. Then around 10 we left to go to Boise with mom and dad. It was a fun car ride and we were able to talk about lots of different things. Once we got to Boise we met up with Ben, Sara, Kaidyn, and Kylee for lunch at this yummy Italian Place Rominos. While all us that eat real food Kylee and Kenneth were busy talking with each other and playing with Kenneth's toys. Rominos even had Ice Cream Potatoes! Anyone that knows my family knows we love those things! Since we were eating out to celebrate Ben's birthday Mom and Dad let us all get one, after getting them we discovered they were certainly big enough that we could've easily shared between two people. Thanks mom and dad! After eating we all went to Zamzows and it was fun walking around with Kaidyn looking at the different animals. There's some of the animals I wouldn't mind having, but pretty sure Tim and I will stick with fish! Mom and Dad had to go there to get grass seed for there back lawn. We left there and headed straight for the zoo. Thankfully Ben and Sara have a double stroller, because I left mine in Burley (thought we were just going to eat). There stroller is very nice and when we have a second one eventually I might look into getting it. It was fun to walk around the zoo and see all the different animals that they have there. It's certainly has changed since I was little. Kenneth got to look at some of the animals but mostly stayed in the stroller to avoid the sun. We left the zoo and then headed back to Burley. Once there mom and dad went shopping for groceries. I had intended to go home that day but was feeling tired, hungry, and didn't want to risk anything. So I stayed that night and had fun talking with mom some more. Mom even bought me a cute outfit so that I could go to church with them. Thanks Mom!

Sunday we woke up had breakfast and all headed to church. I felt a little silly taking Kenneth in regular clothes since he's always had on nice clothes for church! Luckily it was just stake conference! After it was over, we gave Kenneth a bottle I got everything all packed up, ate something myself and then headed back home. Tim was very happy to see us and hug and kissed for a little bit. We went to Brittany's for dinner that night which was nice not having to worry about cooking. Then we came back home and just enjoyed sometime together when Tim was done with homework.
