Summer Quilt

It's finally done!!! I was working on this quilt for the last two years. Not that it ever took me that long to do, I just had a lot of uncertainty about what I would do with the quilt and my idea of what I wanted it to look like changed from the first year to the second. The main reason it took me a while after I had the top done is I knew I didn't want to yarn tie it but instead wanted to Machine stitch it. I thought that it would take forever to do. But once I finally just decided to do it, it took maybe three days to finish it up. :) Then binding once I figured out how I wanted to do that took two days of sewing only when Kenneth was in bed sleeping for the night. It's not perfect by any means and I know there's things that I should've changed about doing it. But it works fine for our purposes of having a nice light blanket for summer.

This binding and the quilting is all that I had left. ;)
