On July 27th Kenneth and I packed up and after Tim was home headed to Burley to see my parents. The main purpose of going was to see my oldest brother Dean and his family. I hadn't seen Dean since our wedding and Amanda and their kids it was last summer. So since they were coming to mom and dad's it was the perfect opportunity to see them. When we got there we just relaxed and waited for everyone to come. After eating dinner and talking for a little bit. Their kids went to bed and Mom, Dad, and Dean went and got shakes for all the adults. While they were gone Elizabeth and Joe got there. :) We still just kept talking waiting for the kids to go to bed.
Saturday morning once we were all up and after mom ran a couple errands we all went out geocaching together. It was lots of fun to go out and look for different caches. At one of them my flip flops I was wearing broke. That was fun trying to walk around, luckily the store that was near by had some cheap flip flops and dad picked them up for me. Once we got back Dean, Elizabeth, and I ran to the store to get somethings for dinner and then we all had dinner and sent the kids to bed. Then we had time to play some games together, until we went to bed.
Sunday we all relaxed spending time together before church and getting ready for church. Church was interesting, Kenneth did not want to stay in any of the classes, because he was exhausted. Luckily Mom was willing to help out with him. Dad took over with him during Sacrament meeting when he was so tired and wouldn't stay asleep in my arms. He did finally fall asleep on my dad's lap and stayed that way until it was over, they had Sacrament meeting last. After church we came home and packed up to go up the cabin. Then we had dinner which was delicious! I had also made a dessert that mom requested and so once we were all done with dinner we finish packing up the cars and then left. Jj rode with Dad, Kenneth and I and it was fun, he was very well behaved for us and even Kenneth did good. After we got to the cabin we pretty much just figured out where everyone was sleeping and sent the kids to bed. We all played games again until we were ready for bed.
Monday when we got up we all ate breakfast and then the kids went out to play outside. I stayed inside because Kenneth needed a nap. Once he was up it was time for lunch. After lunch the kids went down for a nap and we all went out and cleaned up underneath the cabin, so that way Dad and Grandpa can do more work on it. After doing that we played Ticket to ride together and during it the kids all got up from their naps. So Elizabeth and Amanda made dinner. After dinner we let the kids play for a little bit but then it was time for bed. After they were all in bed we played a couple rounds of Ticket to Ride and then Phase 10 together before going to bed ourselves.
Tuesday after breakfast, we packed up the cars and then headed back to Burley. Dad and I had to stop in Boise to fix a problem dad had with one of his tires. Then we got back to Burley and waited while everyone else got there. Elizabeth and Joe got there first, but left shortly afterwards. Dean and Amanda came in and ate dinner and then left.
We had such a great Weekend of fun. :)
