1. I'm very thankful for the chance I have to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I don't for one second regret choosing to stay with in the church after I got old enough to make that decision. I love everything that the church brings to me and the many blessings I receive from being a member.
2. I'm so grateful to be able to attend school! I love all the classes I have taken and they have each taught me something new each and every single time I go to the class. I make it a priority to attend classes every day so that I don't miss anything the teacher has to say.
3. I found out yesterday that I only have 4 more semesters left, which means I'm half way done! I plan to attend during my off track so that I can be done even faster hopefully April of 2014, other wise it wouldn't be until December of 2014. I'm so thankful for a school that allows that to happen.
4. Last one about school I hope: I'm so thankful for online classes, I never thought I could handle taking them but after having a semester full of them right after Kenneth was born I realized I can handle them, which is exactly what I have planned to do with every class that I can so I can spend more time with my sweet baby boy.
| Hopefully we'll have more times of playing peek a boo like this |
6. I'm so thankful for Kenneth, he has brought so much joy into my life. I don't regret having him when we did. I know my life is so much better and more fulfilling then it was before. He's been a great excuse to meet and get to know more people in our ward.
7. I'm thankful for the ward we live in. They are all truly amazing people and even with the constant change each time I learn to love the new people.
8. I'm thankful for the apartment we have to live in. There are so many memories in this apartment and it has made me realize more and more how grateful I am that mom and dad spent money each month for us to live in a house. I'm excited for when Tim and I can actually live in a house and not worry about neighbors as much!
9. I'm thankful for Tim's job, without it there's no way we'd be getting by right now without going into massive amounts of debt. It's so nice that all our bills can be paid with one check and the other amount can go towards things we need or want (for Christmas Presents).
10. I'm so thankful for the amazing friends I have, old and new. They are what help me get through some of the hard times and helps Tim and I realize what is best for us.
11. I'm thankful for the ability I have to sew, without it we would be stuck paying for things that are more money then they are worth sometimes. But with this talent I'm able to help and save us lots and lots of money.
12. I'm thankful also for the ability to Crochet, I didn't always know how and had my mom do all the crocheting for me but because I know how to now, I'm able to make some money doing something I love to do in my spare time. I'm sure my extended family is thankful for this so I don't give them too many hats as presents.
13. I'm grateful for the health we have. Over all Tim, Kenneth, and I have excellent health and haven't had anything serious happen to us yet. We've been extremely blessed in this area and I'm so glad for that.
14. I'm thankful for great health insurance. Not having to worry about medical expenses is nice, especially with Kenneth. I love that we were able to take him into the doctor without a second thought when we thought he had an ear infection and didn't have to pay anything extra for it.
15. I'm thankful for the amazing doctors that we have, I hear to many people complain about their doctors, and I have had bad doctors in the past, but we truly have a great doctor's office that we go too and they really do care about their patients. After Kenneth have jaundice and then the experience with Silent Reflux I realized that. Tim and I both realize that doctors have to rule out what's most likely wrong first and then they'll keep going if needed.
16. I'm thankful for two good running cars. Tim and I have also been blessed so much in this area, we never had had any major problems with our cars since getting married. Tim had some problems before but thankfully his mom and dad were willing to help out with those expenses.
17. I'm so thankful for working appliances. I have had friends tell me about different things that don't work in their apartment, and I came to realize that again we are very blessed to not have any problems with them.
18. Along with that I am thankful we have the landlords we do. They are amazing. Again I have had friends tell me problems they had and we have dealt with not so nice landlords in the past. The ones we have now are amazing and whenever anything is wrong they send the handyman out as soon as possible to fix it. What is even nicer is he doesn't leave until it is fixed and tells to call him again if we have a problem.
19. I'm thankful for the amazing technology we have around. Being able to learn as much as we are able to and want to is a button push away. I know our lives know are so richly bless because of all the modern technology.
20. I'm thankful for my parents they are amazing and a great help when ever it is needed. I'm thankful my dad is willing to talk to me when he is free and knows I need conversation with an adult at night. They have taught me so much and I am so thankful for that too.
21. I'm thankful for good in-laws. They try and help us when ever they can and help so much with things we need for Kenneth. For that I'm can't be grateful enough. I'm so glad that we didn't have to worry as much about furniture for Kenneth like we thought we would.
22. I'm thankful for my great siblings that I have. They're all amazing and I'm just so blessed to have them in my life. They each teach me something different, and help me in their own way.
23. I'm thankful as well for my great siblings-in-law. They are all amazing as well and each one adds a little difference to our family that I wouldn't take back for one second.
24. I'm thankful for all my nieces and nephews. They help me understand what it means to be like a little child and helps me realize as well that there isn't any bad ages of kids. I'm so excited to have more kids to add to our family and to experience all the different ages.
25. I'm so thankful I can be a mom! I love spending time with Kenneth and am excitedly waiting the day when I get to stay home with him and our future children. I know the time really isn't that far away and I'm so excited to have that time with them.
26. I'm so grateful for the gospel in my life, it helps me be a better person and reminds me of what is truly important in this life. I know my life would be different if I didn't have this in my life.
27. I'm grateful for the chance I have to exercise my right to vote, it was almost 100 years ago when women were given that right and I want to honor that privilege each chance I can.
28. I'm thankful for being able to be born in America. I love it here and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Having talked to several different Missionaries, I love being an American where we have so many great freedoms.
29.I'm thankful for the ability to cook for my family. We don't have to rely on processed food at all and I love that my parents made me learn to cook at a young age.
30. I'm grateful for the men and women who fight for us each and every day to live in this country. Having a brother who has done that for us makes me proud to be his sister. I also have several friends who have done that, I'm so thankful for that, I know it must be hard for them to be apart but they do it.
