As I already talked about Equal Partnerships is possible. Now what are the benefits?
One is being happier in your marriage
Two you have a better well-being as an individual
Three more effective parenting practices (Who doesn't want that?)
Four: better functioning children (again who doesn't want that?)
These statistics have been shown constantly by researchers that marriages that are equal in power are better and happier than ones where one spouse dominates over the other.
These marriages are happier because they have less negative interactions and so obviously have more positive interactions.
There's even evidence that partners that are equal in their marriage are more satisfied with the quality of physical intimacy in their relationship.
Parents who are unequal in their marriage are less likely to work together in team parenting their children. They are also less likely to show a united front when it comes to disciplining their children. They are also more likely to triangulate their marriage. Bring one or more children into the struggles they are having, which causes the children to choose sides.
Children from unequal marriages are more likely to be depressed, have anxiety, drug abuse, and delinquency.
