Fantasy Infidelity: is characterized by having an emotional affair with someone who has no knowledge about what is taking place, or with someone who is anonymous, or will likely never be encountered in person, or all three.
President Harold B. Lee taught that a "thought is the father of an act. No man ever committed murder who did not first become angry. No one ever committed adultery without a preceding immoral thought. The thief did not steal except he first coveted that which was his neighbor's."

Visual Infidelity: such as pornography is perhaps the most common type of unfaithfulness. We are told by President Spencer W. Kimball not to let our eyes wander. We should keep our eyes fixed on our spouse so we don't wander possibly to another.

Romantic Infidelity: Occurs when one becomes emotionally involved with a specific person other than our spouse. It is characterized by a "second life" and is a way to escape the monotony of everyday life. We are tempted by Satan to believe that our lives should be much like the love stories we see portrayed on TV, in movies and books. The fact is our lives can't always be like that and we need to go after a life that can be the best.

Sexual Infidelity: Most know what Sexual infidelity is and it can be involved with or without emotional side depending on whom the act takes place with. Satan will after all deceive us that we will be happier with Infidelity.
