Weekend fun.

Going into this last weekend we didn't have any great plans, except one enjoy time together.

Friday night we went to Mike and Kenna's it was such a great day and we tried out all pinterest recipes. They were all delicious especially the Turkey Burgers! I think I might start including our attempts at the different recipes and the spins I take on them after the first time, on here. :) To conclude the night we watched Zoolander. I was the only one who had ever seen it before (we watched it a lot when I was single, in one of my groups). Afterwards we all went to bed. Kenneth is a crazy sleeper if he knows he can get to mom and dad. At one point we felt him climbing over our legs. It was pretty crazy, but he settled down and was back sleeping.

Saturday, we woke up pack up the things we had brought and headed home. We then all got dressed super fast and met our friends Austin and Tiffany Swenson at Porter Park to have some pictures taken. I'm excited to see them, I think we got some cute ones. After pictures we went back home. I worked on some homework, before we headed to Lone Pine Nursery. Goggle gave me the wrong directions at first so we didn't make there with enough time to actually do their free fishing. :( Instead we went inside and looked at all the pretty flowers and since they were on sale we bought a couple, plus a bell pepper plant. After that we spent the rest of the evening at home, enjoying family time together.

Sunday, we went to church. This day was one that I was very thankful Kenneth will be going to nursery soon. He was a pill through most of church. During Sacrament I was going to take him out at one point but he started choking and it was freaking me out. After church he went down for a much needed nap. Tim and I spent lots of time watching Dr. Who. Around 6 we headed to a little get together some friends were having. It was so much fun. We had good food and the kids were all able to play together. I even have pictures from our fun activity we had at the end. After it was done we just went back home and again just enjoyed time together.

One benefit of cloth diapers, Kenneth can just sit in the pool without worrying about his diaper swelling up. He had a love/hate relationship with the bubbles. He started to really love them and then kept eating them and so he discovered the bubbles are yucky.
