Weekend

Our Saturday was a pretty good day. We all woke up and enjoyed a lazy morning, before getting ready for the day. Jared came over and watched Kenneth for us, while Tim and I went out on a date that afternoon.

We headed over to the craze and had fun playing some arcade games together. Tim had earlier said we had no money for a date, but I still wanted to do something even if it was cheap. He had cash in his pocket from the money we got for the Farmers Market. So he took us there and we got to have some fun. We had just over 200 tickets and so we bought somethings using our tickets for Kenneth. Then we went to Dairy Queen and ate our dinner. Then did shopping before heading home and doing some homework that didn't get finished up earlier.

Jared had taken Kenneth back to his apartment and then took him to the splash park. He apparently liked it a lot better this time, once he warmed up to it. Jared also took him to Caci's apartment before he brought him back to us.

Sunday was a good day. Kenneth woke up really early (for him) and so did the rest of us. We were able to take our time getting ready for church and were actually early to it, which was nice. Church was really enjoyable and Kenneth was pretty well behaved until Sacrament (ours is last), when it was nap time and he was done sitting still. After church we put him down for his nap and then Tim and I just watched episodes of Dr Who before taking a little nap ourselves. Once up from my nap I made dinner and Tim helped as well. Our good friend Erika Walters came over for dinner and so did Jared. We ate outside and enjoyed the nice cool shade. We invited some of our neighbors to eat dessert with us that we outside playing too. We had way to much to eat for just us, even with Jared taking some for Caci and her roommate. It was fun, because all of them have a little boy around Kenneth's age so they were all able to play, while we enjoyed each others company.

Kenneth fell out onto the concrete Sunday afternoon  following Tim, when he went to water our Strawberry plants. He has a nasty bump from it. :( But I can't take a picture of it since my sd card in my phone decided to die. :( I really need a new camera or phone soon. Normally he goes out onto the patio all the time just fine but this time his leg got stuck. Needless to say the next time he was nervous of going out alone.
