Beach Time

Once we made it to the Oregon Coast, we unpacked, and headed down to the beach. It was a windy down on the beach, but still felt good. Kenneth wasn't in the mood to touch the ocean.

Once we got back from taking some pictures on the beach, we put Kenneth down to bed and talked to Tim's dad for a little bit before going to bed ourselves.

The next morning we had breakfast. Tim's mom and Brittany arrived after we had gone to bed too. We headed out to Tillamook to go do some exploring. First we stop in Garibaldi, a town on the way. We went into a doughnut shop and all had a doughnut, except Kenneth he shared. We saw that a train was about to take off and so we waited to see it take off. While waiting we let Kenneth play in a playground that was there. They had sand for it and it was so nice to walk in instead of bark. :)

Kenneth in a pumpkin hat I made. :) Almost too small though for his big head
Kenneth on a Carousel he wouldn't look at me to get a good picture
This cute girl Emma offered to spin Kenneth around on the Carousel

After watching it we went down to Tillamook and filled up Tim's mom's car. Then we went into Goodwill. Tim's mom was able to find some new pants and a couple shirts for Kenneth that we named brand for a dollar or two. Brittany and I looked through the children's books and got a stack of ones we wanted as well that was in great condition. After Goodwill we went to the Cheese factory, It was so crowded that we ended up just getting a couple cartons of Ice Cream. On the way back, we stopped and picked up a jerky stick. We then had lunch and Kenneth went down for a nap. I layed down with him too to help him fall asleep and ended up sleeping myself. When we both got up in was close to dinner time so we ate dinner and then headed back down to the beach to walk around and see if we could catch a good sunset. But it was cloudy so we didn't. Then we went back and after Kenneth was down, I help teach Brittany how to crochet a hat. That was really fun to do.

Saturday we woke up and Kenneth went down to the beach with everyone except Tim and I after breakfast. Then when they got back and packed up they all headed back to Vancouver. Tim and I stayed behind to have a one night get away. It was nice to have some alone time but also weird. We ended up walking on the beach together and also ended up going to get some pizza for dinner. Before bed we mainly watched one of our favorite tv shows from Food Network, Chopped, it was their all star competition so that was really fun to watch.
Kenneth liked sitting on the fireplace, hoping he'll listen to us to not sit on it once there's a fire in there.
Walking on the beach
"Go MineCraft" Thought this was funny when I opened the box.
Sunday we woke up had some breakfast. We got the place back in order before heading back to Tim's parents. I was ready to see Kenneth. Once back, we had dinner. Then Tim helped his dad build a fire for a fireside they were having at their place for the Young Men Young Women. During which I helped show Brittany how to make ear flaps for her hat, while watching a movie.
Kenneth loved sitting on his Grandpa's shoulders. This was out by the fire pit
