Burley

So much has happened since I last wrote. To not bore you all, I'll be splitting up the posts.

Friday the 26th of July Mom had the day off. We didn't have any major plans but decided we should do something fun. We went and checked out a splash pad that's in the area to see if it was any fun. Kenneth enjoyed it with help of Uncle Jared. Afterwards we went back home and watched a movie. It was a pretty low key day but still enjoyable.

Saturday we went out geocaching. We didn't have great luck at first finding the caches but eventually found the third one pretty easy and had pretty good luck from there on. At one of the caches mom and dad decided we should just hike up to the next one as they weren't sure dad's truck would fit through some of the narrow passage we had been going through. It was a 1/2 mile hike up hill. Dad took Kenneth while I followed after them, with mom coming in behind. Jared had decided to climb up to a cave before joining up with all of us. It was a good hike up, if I had been thinking I could have snapped a really cute picture of Kenneth. Dad had him on his shoulders and at one point I could just see, Kenneth's head bobbing up and down through the sage brush. :) After the geocaches we went to get some last minute food items we needed for camping trip. Then we went back home, had dinner, and eventually went to sleep.

Sunday I went to church with mom and dad. Instead of going to Relief Society alone I joined mom in her Primary class and helped teach part of the lesson. Kenneth again didn't like Nursery and they gave him to grandpa who then brought him to us, because he didn't even want grandpa. Which is weird, he loves his Grandpa Mefford. It was funny at one point Kenneth was being a turkey in primary, so I left to go to Sunday school. Well I had to go to the bathroom so I gave him to my Dad and then went to the bathroom. Kenneth cried as soon as I left and stopped only if Dad stood up. But when I came back he was perfectly content sitting on his lap, and did for pretty much the rest of church. After church Mom and I made some cookies to bring camping and also helped with making dinner. After Kenneth went to bed and before I went to bed I got pack up to be ready to leave the next day.
