Utah/Baptism

Thursday the first of August we woke up, got ready, and went swimming at Murray Pool. It was fun. Kenneth wasn't a fan of the pool though so that was a little bit of a pain for me. Luckily Amanda, Dean, and Liz were all willing to take him for a little bit here and there when I needed a break from the crying and wanted to play with their kids. (Thank You) After swimming we had lunch in the park. It was fun to let all the kids play while we relaxed and talked. Then we went back to Liz's and watched Rigoletto together. Amanda had never seen it before, but the rest of us grew up watching it so we all loved watching it again and knew Amanda would like it. Then we decided to go out to eat for Emily's Birthday. We went to Denny's (Sara and her kids met us there) and since most of the kids were old enough we let them all sit by each other while all the adults sat by each other and talked. Then we went and got ice cream from Coldstone. After Coldstone we went home. Elizabeth, Sara, and I stayed up late talking together. I even detail cleaned my laptop, it was something to do and I felt it needed to be done.

Friday the second of August, Liz took Emily and Maddie to the doctor. While Sara and I watched the other kids. Then we went to IKEA. We ate lunch there and then looked around. Dean and Amanda met us there as well. We dropped off most of the kids at the play place. It was so fun looking. I really wanted to get a couple things for Kenneth but had no money (literally), but have some great ideas for potiental birthday/Christmas presents. After Ikea, we went to another store that had a ferris wheel inside it. All but the youngest three were able to ride it. Dean and I stuck behind with them while Amanda, Elizabeth, and Sara rode with the kids.

This is a youth size hat, my child's head is big
Kenneth turned the hat to the side, I love this picture, despite the blurry factor
Lucas and Emily loved that they could ride alone
JJ, Amanda, and Selena
Maddie, Kiera, and Elizabeth. Sara is in the very bottom of the picture
After riding the Ferris Wheel we walked around to look at all the animals they had stuffed upstairs. Then Liz, Sara, and I went to Costco with some of the kids. After Costco we went to Amanda's parents place. Tim was there and I was so happy to see him after being apart for over a week. After dinner, all the boys went to a movie, Jared included who arrived after dinner.  While they were gone the girls played games together, while the kids were down for bed.

Saturday, we woke up and I helped Liz start preparing things for the luncheon. I also helped get Emily ready to leave. The baptism was amazing! I can't believe Emily is that old, even though I know that's the case. She's such a sweet girl and I'm so glad we were able to be part of the experience. We then went back to Liz and Joe's had a yummy lunch and then Tim, Kenneth, and I headed out to Boise.
On the way to Boise, Tim convinced me to stay there for the night, but I had one condition, we couldn't just sit and doing nothing at his grandparents. So we went to fill up the car and went into Fred Meyers to look for new toys for Kenneth. Aj and Katie came over to his grandparents as well and so we were able to talk with them for a little bit, when we were back there. Once they left we headed to bed.
