Kids Visit

Liked stated a couple post ago, my nieces and nephews came back with us from Burley. We had so much fun with them here.

Sunday the 18th, we got up and ready and headed to church. The kids all did good at church, Kenneth on the other hand wasn't having a good day which was tough. Tim is our new organist at church and so having to worry about 4 other kids while your kid is being a stinker is hard. Luckily I could leave and they just sat there listening/looking at Kenneth's books. After church we went back home and were ready to make some lunch before putting Kenneth and Asher down for a nap. That's when we discovered our deep freezer had lost electricity while we were out of town. :( We tried to salavage some food but decided not to risk it and instead lost a lot of food! Luckily some awesome friends the Harlodsons were kind enough to lend us some food so we could make dinner. After dinner the kids watched a movie before going to bed.

Monday, I took the kids to the library. They really enjoyed it and we came back with some books they enjoyed reading them throughout the week off and on. After getting back from the Library Tim came with us as well to the store. It was crazy to go shopping with that many kids, but after the freezer dying we had to get groceries in order to have food for dinner the rest of the week. After the store, we made dinner and had a lazy evening at home.

Tuesday we again had a pretty lazy day during the day. Until the evening after dinner we went to the nature park with our neighbor Amy and her little boy Hayden. It was so much fun to go and feed the ducks. After feeding the ducks we let the kids all play on the toys. They all had a lot of fun and it tired them out enough to go to sleep when it was time for bed.

Wednesday was a very lazy day, spent mainly at our apartment.

Thursday however we were much busier. We went to the Children's Museum after Tim went to work. It was a blast. Afterwards we went back home and had naps. Once Tim went home we went up to St Anthony to check out a Summer Fest they were having. It was a bust though because everything cost a lot of money. So instead we went and got Fried Chicken for dinner and had a picnic outback.

Friday I took the kids to the Splash pad after naps. They all enjoyed it but got cold after about forty minutes so we didn't last much longer than that. But it was still fun. After the splash park we had dinner at home and they played some games with Tim.

Saturday we decided to go feed the fish at warm river. Only to discover when we got there that the feeder that had been there in the past is now gone. So we just looked at the fish and then decided instead to go up to Mesa Falls and have our picnic that we had packed. It was so fun and breath taking to view. After Mesa Falls  we headed towards our Bishop's place for a ward BBQ he was having there. We got there really early. But that allowed the kids to play before it started raining and we were all stuck inside.

Sunday we again went to church the kids did great again and Kenneth was better but still a little stinker. After church we mainly just watched TV before making dinner. Elizabeth got there while we were preparing dinner and helped finish it up and make a dessert. It was fun talking to her that night and the kids certainly loved seeing their mom.

Monday, the 26th they headed home after breakfast, but it was a very late breakfast. Kenneth cried when his cousins left. He had been so use to having someone besides Mom all day to play with him that it took us both some time getting use to it being just us, when dad was/is at work.
