The First Weekend of February Tim, Kenneth, and I headed down to Utah. On Friday we left town later then planned but that's okay. We stayed at Ben and Sara's place, they had a yummy dinner ready for us. It was fun to compare their little girl Kylee with Kenneth. After we were done eating and settled, I was dying to go see my parents that were at Elizabeth and Joe's, so Tim and I headed over there. It was great to see them and they were all anxious to hold Kenneth. I loved seeing Elizabeth hold Kenneth, I never have really gotten to see her be an aunt, especially with a baby. I've only seen her in the Mom role. :) I totally spaced getting a picture of any of my side of the family holding Kenneth with our camera. After talking for a while Tim and I headed back to Ben and Sara's and after feeding Kenneth fell asleep. He slept so good, about 7 hours that night straight.
Saturday we woke up and had breakfast, then I had to do a quick group meeting for my math class. Then we went to Tim's Aunt Cindy and Uncle Bruce's where all Tim's family was at. Tim's sister Brittany was super excited to see Kenneth and took him out and loved on him. So did the rest of his family, I did remember to get those pictures. I'll post those later. We enjoyed talking and eating lunch and talking some more, then we headed back to see my family. We all met up at Pizza Pie Cafe with some of my mom's siblings. That was so fun I hadn't seen them in such a long time, and I love how loving they are to everyone and so concerned about what's happening in everyone's family. After eating dinner we went to my Uncle Lee's and Aunt Karen's, to talk more, the restaurant was filling up quickly and we took up a lot of space. :) When we were done there, mom headed with Tim and I to get Kenneth a blessing outfit. Once we got that, luckily quickly too, we went back to Elizabeth and Joe's and started making some food for the luncheon the next day. It was fun and we went back before it got to late. Kenneth again slept great for about 8 hours, it would've been great if I hadn't kept waking up.
Sunday, we woke and all got ready for church, it was fun to go to church with all my family. :) Kenneth fussed a little in Relief Society, which was first, so mom took him. He fell asleep and was out pretty much until the very end of church. Sacrament was amazing, and I don't always think that. Both Kylee and Kenneth were blessed and that was so awesome. I felt the spirit so strong, I wish I could've remembered everything Tim blessed him with so that we could've written it down for him to have later in life. After church we headed to my Aunt Janine and Uncle Bill's they graciously opened their home to all of us so that we could have the luncheon there. (THANK YOU) It was crazy packed, but again fun. Having my grandpa hold my baby was great, I love seeing him with little babies. ;) After everyone left Tim and I went back to his Aunt and Uncle's so that his family could see Kenneth and us one last time. Then we went to my Aunt Ruby and Uncle Joel's they had all their kids that lived in the area over and that was fun to see all of them. Then we went back to Elizabeth and Joe's mostly because Emily and Maddie wanted to ride with us. :) Which is funny since they were in a van either way. :) We stayed there for a little bit talking, and then said goodbye and headed to Ben and Sara's again. I worked on some homework that was due Monday morning, thought I would've had more time that weekend to do it.
Monday we woke up bright and early and headed back to Rexburg. We made it with 45 mins to spare before my Book of Mormon class. Never again due I plan to only get 4 hours of sleep before classes. I'm still trying to catch up on that missed sleep. ;)
Over all it was a great weekend and I'm so glad we got to go spend time with our family! I'll admit I'm thankful that we haven't had to play the share the time game yet and I hope we don't have to very much, if at all again!
