Camping

Wow I got busy and haven't had time to update in a while will do my best to get caught up not that anyone was really missing an update from me.

Back in June Tim, Kenneth, and I all went camping with our ward. Tim had been looking forward to this for a very long time. I was excited too, but he was certainly more so than I was too.

The 28th of June is when we went up to our bishop's dad's property. The ride up was interesting to say the least. We didn't bring any food for Kenneth to eat since we knew it was taken care of by the ward. Kenneth freaked out and so we had to improvise with some M&Ms and Kisses. Once we arrived dinner was already started and so we grab some food and Kenneth was so glad we did. It was delicious. Chick-fil-a  chicken strips, watermelon, and Macaroni Salad.

After dinner Kenneth played and played with all of his friends and I talked to their mommies. Tim went off with boys to shoot guns with the boys in the ward. It was so much fun. At one point we all decided to put the kids to bed. Kenneth did not like that but it was well past his bed time.

After they were all in bed, all the adults spent time talking together some around the fireplace some decided to watch a movie together. It was so fun to have some adult talk without having to worry too much about Kenneth.

We went to bed around 11:30. Kenneth woke up when we came and so we spent most of the night dealing with a child that wanted to crawl all over us. He officially decided that waking up at 5:30 on the 29th was a great idea because the sun was up. :( That was tough on all of us. We eventually got up and our bishop let us hang out in his trailer until more were up. Tim packed up while breakfast  was being made so we were able to leave after we ate.

Kenneth thankfully slept for a while on the way home. Tim and I both worked on homework once we got home before we ran some errands later that day.

Sunday the 30th was Kenneth's first day in Nursery! It was kind of nice not having him there. We even spoke during Sacrament meeting which for us is at the end. Then we went back home and relaxed for the rest of the day.
