Update part 2- Fall semester, A wedding, and a birthday

September- Beginning of September was a little crazy. We were suppose to move into our new apartment the first but found out the old people locked up the place. So we waited until the 2nd. Let's just say we lasted a week before we moved to another place. That first place was awful, smoking neighbors, barking dogs, sketchy part of town (Yes eastern Idaho has those), and then inconsiderate neighbors who were up partying until 2 one night. The new place was so much better and was actually in Rexburg. We loved it and the people upstairs from us had a little girl close to Kenneth's age so they had fun together.
School started for Tim and kept him busy. On top of school he worked two jobs to make ends meet easier. One thing I loved about being back in Rexburg is seeing my friends again. :) Thomas turned 4 months and was up to 13.2 ounces by this point.

October- Wasn't too busy or exciting. I spent time with boys each day of course. Also every other Wednesday I would go to a girls night and had so much fun with my friends doing that. One weekend we went to a Halloween festival with the boys, Kenneth had lots of fun there. The day before Halloween we had our ward Halloween party which was so fun to see everyone all dressed up. Then on Halloween my friend Erika and I went around to different activities with the boys. Tim and I took Kenneth to a couple homes to trick or treat but nothing to exciting, as the ward activity had a trunk or treat. Thomas went through a few changes, he learned to sit up by himself. Started to try to scoot and started teething. At 5 month he was 13.7 lbs.

November- Was a busy month for me and crocheting hats. :) Had so much fun doing so and working on the start of Christmas presents as well. More girls nights, and threw a friend a baby shower. This is the start of Thomas not doing great, but that will be a separate blog post. We also went to my parents for Thanksgiving break. The day after we went to a movie in theater. Was Kenneth's first time watching one there. He loved it, we plan to take him to another soon. It was fun to get out of Rexburg. We found a mouse just before we left for that weekend. We bought and set traps before leaving, but none of them helped. Tim also received a job offer for a job with GM in Michigan. We turned it down, as it didn't feel like the right choice for our family. Thomas got to start eating solids this month and we decided to to more baby-led weaning this time around. He loved food from day one! He was down to 13.2 lbs at this point.

 

December- This was a busy busy month. We kept dealing with the mice problem. Was awful to deal with and I'm so glad we're done with that experience. Tim only let me set up a few easy Christmas decorations as we had to move half way through the month. I took Kenneth, my friends 2 kids, and Thomas to an Elsa meet and greet at a local craft store in Rexburg. The older kids all loved it.
Tim and I moved to a new place in Rexburg, because our lease was up at the one we lived in. Then Tim's parents came to visit as did my parents for Tim's graduation! So happy to see him walk across that stage! We celebrated Christmas early that Sunday morning the 21st. We were spoiled as always by Tim's family. We left Sunday for Utah.

Monday the 22nd my little brother's fiance went through the temple. It was awesome to be in the temple with so many family members. We also had a bachelor/bachelorette party for them. The girls went to Olive Garden, then went to a church for my mom's side of the family Christmas dinner. The next day on the 23 my brother got married. That day was crazy as is most wedding days.  But great to see how awesome my family is. Christmas eve my family all left, but before that we had breakfast together. All we were missing was Kierstin. Then we went to Elizabeth's place and hung out together. We had a great Christmas day together, Liz and I planned and made all the food together.So much fun. We also played lots of games together.

 The 27th of  December Kenneth turned 3, I could not believe it! Having a three year old just seems crazy. WE had a fun day of riding a train, going to the planetarium in Salt Lake with cousins, going out to eat with cousins, then getting to make a stuff animal at Build a bear (a monkey, named oo oo ah ah wearing a super hero costume), Then pizza for dinner along with a yummy birthday cake, and presents.

We headed back to Rexburg the next day after church. Maddie came back with us. We came back to a snow covered car. We left the 30th of December Tim's and my anniversary for Vancouver, the kids and I did. The van died just outside of Blackfoot. Since we had to stay we ended up going to a New Years Eve party the next day at a friends' place. So much fun!
