Again it's been now a couple of weeks, since I updated, I'm sitting here typing this thinking if I just focus in no time, I should be caught up.
On June 2nd I went to the community care place here in Rexburg. They drew blood and poked me four times to do so, It was irrating to say the least, the nurse was accusing me of being a hard poke and I told her that normally they get me the first time. In between the pokes they x-rayed my knee so that we could start the trip of figuring out what's wrong with it after 7 years of pain. The blood was drawn to help determine what was going on with my body as I had been nauseated for months on end and having pain on the right side of my stomach, since I was pretty positive I wasn't pregnant. When the test came back it turned out that everything they tested wasn't positive and my x-ray also came back as nothing broken, which didn't really surprise me. I end up being referred to an orthopedic surgeon for that and more tests were scheduled to see if my stomach problems was my gallbladder.
Those tests turned into the first one being an ultrasound I had on June 10th showing that I didn't have anything in there, the second a hitas scan on June 16th, where i was injected with a radioactive isotope and after an hour injected with a fatty substance to see how the gallbladder handled it. Let me just say that was not very fun, the pain hurt so bad.
So once the results were in I went in to a surgeon on June 28th, who told me that my gallbladder was functioning at 44% and that according to insurance companies that wasn't abnormal enough, which means I have to wait until it's functioning at 33% in order for the insurance to pay for it. So not excited to go through that pain, since what's happening now isn't in the least enjoyable. I have done a few things hoping that it will cause the gallbladder to start functioning normally again and it seems to helping.
As for the orthopedic surgeon visit, it was just a meet and greet the first time on June 10th as well and a lets try physical therapy, I did physical therapy for two weeks, and it seemed to help which was hopeful. Then after I was done it didn't hold up and when I went back to the orthopedic surgeon on July 12th, he finished my sentence before I even got done telling him that. So I was scheduled for an MRI which I had on the 19th of July and haven't heard anything yet. Which I should probably just call there to see why and what's the next step.
