Family Reunion

The last weekend of July was the Kimball family reunion. :) We headed down there Thursday night after I got off work, which was at five this day because I decided to use up a couple of hours so we didn't travel as late. We stayed the night at my wonderful Aunt Janine and Uncle Bill's place. It was fun to be there and be able to talk to them, plus see my cousin Craig who had gotten back from his mission this year, but I hadn't see him yet. The next morning after breakfast, we went over to Tim's Aunt Cindy and Uncle Bruce's, to get our hair cut from his sister Kendra. Mine wasn't drastic, she thinned it out while adding layers :) and I love how light it feels now. Afterwards we headed back to Janine and Bill's, ate lunch, and then packed up and headed up to the reunion, which was up at Heber Valley Camp Ground. Once we got up there we figured out which cabin we would stay in with Liz, Joe, Jared, and the Kids. Then it was a matter of waiting for to see who was coming and talking to those that were there as they arrived. I made sure for Tim that he met at least my aunts and uncles that were there and then a few of my cousins as well. I think he only has three of my mom's brother's left to meet, which is pretty good considering the size of that side. Friday night there was a program after dinner, which our group actually ate during, because we didn't start as soon as we should've. After the program, which was full of cousins singing and stories being told, those with children put their kids down to sleep and then we went to an empty cabin and played some card games together. Then after went to bed. The next morning we had breakfast and then there was time spent talking together and playing more games. Some people went on a hike but, Tim and I stayed behind to watch Maddie and Jj. It was so much fun to be able to spend time together with our family. Once we were all ready to leave and had cleaned up. We went back to Janine and Bill's where we spent the evening with them watching a movie and then some of us played Nert's together while others just talked. The next morning after getting ready and eating some breakfast, we packed up our cars and then celebrated Emily's birthday. :) Then Tim and I left with Emily and Madison and headed back to Rexburg. More on the adventures with them in the next post.
