The Girls VISIT

Like I mentioned in the last post Emily and Madison came with us to Rexburg the first week of August from the Sunday the 1st through Thursday the 5th. Sunday when we got there was mostly unpacking the 4runner and showing the girls where they would sleep. We did go out for a walk together which was fun and then came back and had dinner together. Then watched a movie together before heading to bed. Monday we woke up and got everybody fed and dressed. Then we headed down to Idaho Falls to the zoo down there. It was really quite fun walking around and seeing the different animals. They had an area where you could pet some baby farm animals, but we managed getting to that part right as they closed for lunch, and the zoo wasn't quite big enough to get around and it being back open. Afterwards we got some lunch and then headed back to Rexburg where we took the girls to the DI to get Emily some clothes as our Birthday present to her. She had a blast trying on all the different clothes :) After the Di we went to splash park, Emily definitely had more fun then Madison did. Tim and I got our suits on and kind of forced her into some of the slides in which she always laugh and smiled the whole way down. Then after splash park we went back home had some dinner and then went to a street fair thing that was going on downtown. They even had some dancing in the middle of main street that you could do which was lots and lots of fun. We went with Cherise, Karl and Cami my cousins and Karl danced around with the girls tons. After a while though we headed back home and put the girls to bed. Tuesday we woke up and I went to work for a little bit. After work we took Emily and Madison to Rigby Lake with Cherise and Cami. It was so much fun Cami even hung out with us for a little bit while Cherise was at work. Wednesday I worked the full day so I didn't do much with them but Tim did take them to the park during the day and that night we went to the Drive in movie theater and watched Toy Story 3, after getting home that night Emily realized she'd be going home the next day and didn't want to go to bed. She said she missed being with Mom, Dad, and JJ but didn't want to be leaving Tim and I. Thursday I had to go to work again and Tim was taking the girls back home that day. So he brought them by Qwest to have lunch with me before leaving. It was fun to have them there. I was sad see them leave :( but it was so much fun to have them there with us too.
