Tim's Birthday and Meridian

Tim's birthday was on the 7th of October and we didn't do much besides have some birthday cake that his sister Brittany made him. He had lots of homework to do and so he focused on that. His parents bought him an itunes gift card which he used some of it to get some songs he likes from the radio. I got him the Office season 6, he loves that show and does his best not to miss it. The next day I went with Brittany to Boise, and actually stayed in Meridian with Elizabeth and Joe. That night Liz and I talked for a very long time which was nice since we hadn't seen or talk to each other for about a month. Joe even joined us in after a while, until I had to leave because Brooke my best friend, called and I hadn't talked to her for even longer.

The next morning I woke up and Liz hadn't told the kids I would be there, so when the girls saw me the gave me a hug and sat on my lap, until Liz said let's eat. During breakfast Liz's friend Julee called and reminded her of a baby shower she had to go to that morning. Which was good, because Liz would've forgotten other wise. So she left me with the kids and we played together while cleaning up around the house, Liz had been stressing a bit about her house.

When Liz got back, Liz made the kids sandwiches and then we headed to walmart, we got pumpkins, some food for the making of dinner, and a couple craft things we needed. After we got back the kids went down for a nap and then we spent time talking and chilling. when Joe got home he turned on football and shortly there after the kids started waking up from their nap and Ben, Sara, and Kaidyn came over to watch the Boise State football game.

Liz started making dinner, I helped a little bit, and once it was done we ate, cleaned up. Then Sara, Liz, the kids, and I painted pumpkins. It was so much fun all the kids started painting at first by themselves. Then Emily who was sitting by me started asking me what I was doing and I wasn't quite sure myself so I just told her it was a surprise. So she started copying what i was doing but on a smaller scale on her pumpkin.

After we were done painting pumpkins the kids headed to bed and Ben and Sara went home. Liz and I went to Fred Meyer's to pick up the office for Tim. Once we got back to their house Joe and Liz watched a movie while I put the binding on Joe's blanket that I had been working and that was of course my last step. It felt so great to get done with that blanket, and Tim was happy because it was one less thing I our place. The next morning, we had breakfast, got ready, and headed to church. It was nice to be there in my home ward once again and see how much had changed since mom and dad had moved out and some other's that I had grown up with have too. After church I got dressed into some other clothing and Joe took me over to Tim's grandparents place, so that Brittany and I could come back here. I was sad to leave but it had to be done!
