Museum of Idaho

This last weekend Tim and I went to the Museum of Idaho with my good friend Erika and our friends the Dennets. There they had Bodies the exhibit displayed and it was all quite interesting to see. Having gone to a high school that focused on the medical field I had seen cadavers before, plus had learned all about the different parts of the body and what they do for us as well. So I mainly looked at the different displays and continued on. Some of the ones I found most interesting were the ones that showed the different tumors you can get and especially what a lung looks like that is healthy vs. one of a smoker. In that moment I was thankful that I had grown up in a family that taught the importance of not smoking or drinking and that my body can be healthier. They also had a part with babies that didn't make it to full term and that was quite interesting. They had a 10 week and 12 week baby considering I was 11 weeks it was amazing to see how much the babies change in such a little period of time. Overall it was enjoyable, especially to get out and doing something semi-educational on the weekend.
