Kenneth turned two weeks on the 10th and that Friday the 13th we had his check-up. It went really well and the doctor put some of my concern from the night before to ease.
He had a temperature that was 100.9 at the highest and it freaked me out. Plus he had been sounding weazy and with every other person in our ward having had a cold the last couple weeks I was very nervous that he was starting to get that, mostly because everyone said it was a bad one.
He still had a little bit of a fever but the doctor said not to worry unless he started having other symptoms like not eating. Our boy loves to eat thank goodness! Plus he said his lungs were sound good too.
Kenneth now weighs in at 8 lbs 1oz, and is 21 inches. he's just slowly, but surely growing. :) Doctor was glad that he was over his birth weight, so we don't have to go back until his 2 month check-up.
I never realized how much love I had for Kenneth and that all parents have for their kids, until he had that fever. I was crying thinking the worse of course, but thankfully our awesome friend Kevin Bradley came over and him and Tim gave Kenneth a blessing. After that blessing I felt more at peace then I had before. Plus I talked to my sister and mom which helped calm me down even more. Tim was great through out it all and kept telling me it would be fine, and I knew he was right.
Thanks mom and dad for always having been there and taking care of me when I was sick, I didn't realize how you must've felt when I was sick, even with something minor. I love you!
