Monday the 15th after Tim got home, we loaded up the car and Kenneth and I headed to my parents. Kenneth was wide awake and so that car ride was less then fun. Luckily I had books up front that I could hand back to him and those one by one entertained him long enough for us to get to my parents. Once there mom and I figured out dinner and made it, french toast, yummy! After dinner it was time for bed for Kenneth. Then mom and I went to the store to get a couple things that I could make for dinner that week.
Tuesday during the day wasn't very exciting. Kenneth woke up early because of Jared's alarm and so he wasn't up very long before he was back down for a nap. I mostly just hung out, watching TV shows that I hadn't been able to watch during the semester. Around 3:30 I started dinner. When it was all ready mom, Kenneth, and I ate before heading to their Pine wood derby. Kenneth didn't really seem fascinated by the races like I thought he would be. One day he'll love them right? When we got back he went to bed.
Wednesday Kenneth again woke up earlier then normal. We had breakfast then I left to get some blood drawn while dad could watch Kenneth. That was a quickest trip I've ever made to get test done at a hospital. Ours here takes forever! When I got back Dad had put Kenneth down again, he was happy I had left and just sat and cried despite anything Dad did. So again I relax for most of the day, I did sew some on a couple sewing projects I had, but after a busy semester I wanted to be lazy for a little bit. After mom and dad got home we all went GeoCaching. That was fun and we did 13 caches that were all near each other. It got cold and I forgot to put socks and shoes on Kenneth so my mom put some of her mittens on his feet and hands. After we got back we ate and Kenneth went to bed again.
Thursday, Kenneth actually slept until his normal time. I again sewed some this day and mom and I made dinner later on when she got home. Dad had gone to the temple to help subsitute for another worker. Jared came home that night and so we all ate dinner together. Again after dinner Kenneth was off to bed. Jared started going through all his totes he packed before his mission. He had/has a lot of stuff! We spent quite a bit of time talking together late into the night. (We always seem to do this.)
Friday we woke up and had breakfast again. Jared was already up getting ready to go, since he had to leave his room a lot cleaner then he had been leaving it. Once we were ready to go I realized mom still had Kenneth's carseat, so I had to go get it from her. Afterwards we headed back. I stopped in Idaho Falls since that's where Tim was. He had left Thursday night to hang out with our friends and spent the night. Once I got there I went shopping with Kenna to get some things for a craft we did that night (mine isn't finished just yet). Our other friends Greg and Becca came over too and the boys played video games while the girls watch movies and did our craft. In between one of the games we sang Happy birthday to Kenna then had yummy blizzard cake from Dairy Queen. We end up staying the night because it was late when the boys were done and Kenneth was already fast asleep.
Saturday Kenneth woke up early again, Tim took him so I could sleep a little more. He came and woke me up. Kenna and Mike were getting their couches delievered but the type they got was to wide to go down to their apartment. So Kenna and I went back to the store and picked out another set that would work. Then we went and ran other errands. The boys even let us go to Old Navy and do some shopping. I was only going for clearance items and managed to get a new dress for 7.50. :) I also pick up a coat for JJ that was 8.97, when I saw it I knew I couldn't pass up that price. When we got back from running errands, mainly trying to get supplies to finish up our craft and one of my sewing projects. We had the boys get off their computers and went out to eat to Texas Rhodehouse it was so yummy and worth the wait, the boys were starving when we got their but were ready after the wait. Kenneth got to eat from all of our sides, which he loved. After we ran to Wal-mart to get a couple things then went back. Once back we packed up and headed home.
Sunday we went to church, which was really good. After I made dinner. Jared and Caci came over to eat with us. We had Ham, Scallop Potatoes (from pinterest), and Biscuits. We had no fruit or veggies to be able to having something more. Then Jared wanted to watch a movie and while doing that Caci and I looked at some wedding things. Then I also worked on my craft again. After we had cake (Boston Cream Poke Cake from pinterest although I made my own frosting) and sang Happy birthday to both of them. The cake was Yummy. Their birthdays are 6 days apart. :) They then head back to their apartments and Tim and I to bed.
Overall we had a good week off and I am grateful I could go to my parents for a little while.
