Easter Weekend

For Easter we went to my parents place. We left Friday after I was done with class.

Once we arrived at my parents, mom had decided that we should get pizza for dinner. Shortly after we arrived so did Liz, Joe, and their kids. Mom, Liz, Emily, and I then went to get the pizza. We ate dinner and after Ben, Sara, their kids, and Grandpa, arrived Mom, Liz, Sara, and I went to get some supplies for the egg hunt. It was fun being out and we even found some cool cups to keep there that are all different so we know which cup is ours. (Dad likes to put all unclaimed cups in the dishwasher, so having the cups was NICE) After we got back we all just talked and had fun together. This night was horrible in terms of sleep. Our air mattress had a hole. :( We have had it since just before we got married, but didn't really use it a lot. So I slept on the ground and Tim slept on the couch, both with out blankets, just a sheet, since my parents keep their house warmer then we do, and normally don't need more.

Saturday we all woke up and after breakfast headed out to do some Geocaching. It was so much fun. The area we went to though wasn't conducive to strollers and new walkers and having 3 kids in that category we had to take lots of turns carrying them. Luckily we had enough adults to help do just that. ;) Afterwards we ate lunch and the kids laid down for a nap. Liz and Grandpa filled eggs while Sara and I worked on homework.After their nap they dyed eggs, Kenneth was still sleeping during this part so he missed out, literally woke up when they were all gone. :( After Liz and I went and hid eggs, while all the kids played with kites and bubbles. Kenneth had fun searching for the eggs with our help. Luckily we had a limit so all the kids got the same amount. Afterwards we all ate dinner then we let the kids play before we hid some more eggs that were glow in the dark. That was fun too. :) After it was done we gave the kids a bath and let them take the glow in the dark sticks in the bath, which they thought was great. Then they all went to bed. Liz and I then headed to the store and when we got back we got to watch Les Mis. After we all went to bed.

Sunday we got up ate breakfast and showered in shifts. Mom and Dad have 9 am church. Church was so good. Relief Society and Priesthood was focused on the Atonement and having spent lots of time in my classes and at a Relief Society activity talking about it, I was able to find even more insight. Especially with Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents all willing to take Kenneth. :) After church we had lunch, and then just spent time together. We watched Zookeeper together, I ended up falling asleep during it though. Then we had dinner and after headed back home.

I love having family that lives close together so that we can spend time together making lots of fun memories. I am also thankful of not only going to a school that we can spend time in regular classes talking about the Atonement, but having a church that is willing to talk about it openly as well. I'm glad that the Savior was willing to go through this for us and that through the Atonement I will be able to be with my family forever.
