On Thursday, the 19th of December we left for Boise after I finished up my last two classes. I had Tim take me so if he had time to pack everything in the car he could. We stopped in Idaho Falls for gas and got some lunch as neither one of us had eaten much that day. Made it to Boise pretty quickly, Kenneth was done by the time we passed Twin though after waking from a nap and so we stopped at the next rest stop so he could get out and play before continuing on to Boise. Tim's family was so excited to see Kenneth. He stayed up a little later than normal which was common for the next few days.
On Friday we went to Aj's graduation. We had a great time, it was weird to watch knowing it wouldn't be long before Tim and I were be walking across a stage too. After the graduation we went back to his grandparents and just hung out. That night Tim's mom made Fried Chicken, which is their Christmas eve dinner, for Aj and Katie to enjoy.
Saturday wasn't too exciting for us either, we just hung out at his grandparents relaxing, Kenneth loved Aj and Katie and was so excited to have them come over each day and would ask for them until they did. That night Tim's Aunts, Uncles, and cousins came over for an early family Christmas dinner. It was so fun to see everyone and see the second cousins interact. After they left we had a small present exchange with Katie and Aj. Kenneth had so much fun unwrapping presents and insisted in helping everyone open their presents. He didn't quite understand that they were meant for the individual person. But he enjoyed it. After opening presents we watched the animated Nativity before Kenneth went to bed.
Sunday we went to church, luckily we only stayed for Sacrament meeting because any longer and I wouldn't have made it. We hung out that day as well relaxing. After dinner that night. Tim and I went to my grandpa's and Carol's place. Tim needed to go to set up the computer he built for Carol. He tried switching grandpa to a newer computer but that didn't work for some reason with the hard drive. We had left Kenneth at Tim's grandparents so he could go to bed at a normal time. That was a good idea because we didn't get home until late.
Monday, we woke up early and left for Vancouver. We stopped at a couple rest stops along the way and Kenneth did pretty good the whole way there. Brittany rode in the back with him and would act like she was sleeping so Kenneth would go to sleep. Worked pretty well, thank goodness. Thankfully the roads were good too going there.
