One big catch up

Ok just doing one post at a time is taking me way to long. So I'll just catch up and hopefully can stay caught up.

November 12-14
Tim left town for a internship exhibition. He had fun and although it was tough to be without him I made it through that time keeping busy with school and Kenneth.

Then when he got back that weekend the 17th, I started to get sick. Which quickly turned into bronchitis. It sucked and took all I had to keep going to school each day. After three days of constantly feeling like crap and not being able to breath each morning, I knew I had to get seen by a doctor. So in I went and the doctor just had to listen to me to know what was wrong but still checked everything else out to make sure it wasn't worse then it sounded. Gave me some antibiotics and luckily after a couple days on them I was better. Tim was awesome and took care of me and helped clean and cooked as I only had energy for going to school and doing homework.

The next week was Thanksgiving week. We had school Monday and Tuesday. We left for mom and dad's Wednesday and had lots of fun with them. Wednesday wasn't too exciting for me. I stayed at mom  and dad's with Kenneth and Dad while Tim went to the City of Rocks with Jared, Winnie, and Matt. We had had still just hanging out doing homework and playing.
Thanksgiving Day everyone woke before I was ready to be up, so mom let me sleep in their room as we were stuck on an air mattress in the living room. Dinner was so delicious!
Friday Tim, Mom, Dad, Liz, Joe, Jared, Winnie, and Matt all went out black Friday shopping. While I stayed home in case any of the kids woke up. We went out and did some geocaching together. Then that night Mom, Liz, and Joe went to the temple. We went with them to Twin Falls and just went shopping around town waiting for them to get done. After they were done we went to Coldstone to get ice cream and bought some caramel apples for the baby-sitters left at home.
Saturday we did some more geocaching and the guys went shooting while the kids took a nap. Then we had a yummy dinner and celebrated Kenneth's birthday with everyone there since we knew we wouldn't be there for his actual birthday.
Blue's Clue's cake (he loves Blue Clues)

He received a present from Grandma and Grandpa Mefford that was broken so we took it back and used the money to get another toy, as they didn't have the other. Then we had gotten him an Alphabet toy from leap frog that he seems to love.

We headed back that night since Tim had to play the organ for Sacrament. After church, Sunday December 2, we set up our Christmas Decorations.  Kenneth loved the Christmas Tree being turned on. Which isn't surprising considering he loves Lights.

Later that week we dealt with no power from about Pocatello to Saint Anthony was out. Some places were lucky to not be affected but we weren't so lucky. And it of course had snowed a ton the day before and was cold cold cold. It was about 8 degrees. We tried to stay in our room with the door shut to stay warm but that wasn't working for long. So after getting bundled up we headed up to the school. We hung out at Tim's work and once the school had power again went to get something warm to eat for lunch. After lunch around 1:30 I found out our power was back at our apartment. Luckily my 2:00 class was cancelled so I could take Kenneth back to the baby-sitter and let him have a nap, while I went to my 3:15 class.
That night we had our ward Christmas party. It was so fun. We had really good food and a fun enjoying the company with those we sat with. One fun thing our ward does is a white elephant gift exchange where the present you buy is suppose to be one of your family tradition. So we all go around explaining our different traditions after the person who opens your gift opens it. Kenneth was not amused with Santa though. It was quite sad, it wasn't until our bishop was next to Santa that Kenneth would he get close to Santa.
The next day Tim contacted our managers and had them come fix our heater, it hadn't been working at all this year, which ended up needing replaced. It has been nice having a heater that works, and it seems a lot warmer than it was last year. Thursday night I headed to Utah with Kenneth for a field trip. The drive wasn't bad. Once I got to Liz and Joe's Kenneth went to bed and I talked with Liz and Joe.

I ended up getting the stomach flu that night and so instead of going to my field trip I visited the bathroom more than I wanted too. Kenneth thought it was so funny to see mom throwing up in the toilet and would mimic me. Thankfully Liz was more than willing to take care of Kenneth for me and even took him sledding with her kids so I could relax/sleep. The next day they had their ward Christmas Party in the morning. I went with them to eat something and then Kenneth and I went back home. It was snowing the entire way home, but luckily the roads were still good on at least one side, so I made pretty good time.

That next week wasn't too exciting. Kenneth was teething his top molars, only 1 more to come in and we're done teething!!!! I also ended up getting a cold, which is part of why it wasn't exciting. That Saturday December 14, we had a Relief Society Activity that was so fun. Afterwards we headed to Idaho Falls to do some Christmas shopping.
That next day I felt way worse, and it felt like the cold was going back to Bronchitis. So I decided to stay home from Church and rest. That was a great decision. I felt much better and was able to finish up school the next few days with no problem.

This past month was crazy and full of lot of sickness I can only hope we don't end up getting anything else the rest of the cold/flu season.
