Since being home hasn't been too exciting. We started school on the 6th of January. This was the first semester that I actually switched around classes. But I'm glad I did. I was taking 4 classes online and 1 on campus. Going to the one on campus the first day of class I realized that trying to read a novel every other day was going to be impossible with everything else I would need to do. I also wasn't liking the set up of one of the online classes and so contacted the on campus teacher to see if it was possible to join the class even though it was full. Thankfully he said yes.
Now I'm taking two on campus classes. One is a 7:45 class M/W/F it's so hard to wake up in time for the class but it's easier than being stressed about all the homework for the online one. The other is from 10:15-12:15 M/W. Tim is home during my 7:45 class and starts class at 9 so he comes with Kenneth to switch me. Then Kenneth and I go home get him ready and go to my friend Tiffany's who watches him during my 10:15 class. It's awesome because he loves going there and I can usually talk with her for just a little bit before we head home afterwards. Then Kenneth goes down for a nap. Depending on the day I join him, since even before a 7:45 class I was tired so adding that makes me even more so, especially while I'm trying to read for my online classes.
Tuesdays and Thursdays during the morning will be occupied for us as well. Kenneth is in the toddler lab on campus, his starts at 10:45 and goes until 12:15. I plan to stay on campus while he's there doing homework, unless I have some other appointment.
Tim also started a new job this semester as a TA for one of the classes he took last semester. He got an A in the class which is better than the TAs he had. It's nice because it gives him a more open schedule. He has to attend the two sections of classes and then also lab night that's Tuesday and Thursday from 6-10. Not so excited about that, but he comes home in between the class that ends at 4:15 and the lab so that's nice. Plus he's getting in a couple more hours a week, not a lot of extra money but it's still something.
