Let's see a lot has happened the last few weeks. I finished up classes. Tim's sister came the week of finals. It was fun to have her here. Kenneth loved getting to play with Aunt Brittany and it saved both Tim's and my sanity while we were working on our finals. We didn't do a lot of fun things because of us both having finals, but I'm pretty sure she loved getting to see and play Kenneth.
She left that Friday the 11th after breakfast. My grandpa Mefford and his wife Carol got there around noon. Once Tim got back from his last thing he had to do to finish up the semester we decided to go get lunch. We went to Neilson's Frozen Custard, it was delicious and we all enjoyed talking together. Afterwards we went over to Jared's apartment to see him. We ended up hanging out there until Jared had to go to work. He took me up to the school, since we were both going to the same place.
Waiting for commencement felt like forever but thankfully I had some friends from classes there. So I was able to talk with them. After commencement was over I met up with Mom, Dad, Grandpa, Carol, Tim and Kenneth. Carol took some pictures of us all. Dad was hungry so we tried to go get some food before convocation. I ordered a corn dog because I figured it would be fast to get and eat before I had to get up there. But that didn't happen, I had to leave, Tim went with me to help me walk up the hill. Glad he did, because my stomach got hard after getting there and didn't let up for a little bit.
After convocation was over, I met up with everyone again and had them meet my two favorite Teachers. Brother McCoy and Brother Rarick. Neither one wanted to say goodbye for good though, since Tim has one more semester left in the fall, so I'll be in town and will probably be in their building that semester with Kenneth as we plan on him participating in Toddler lab again.
It feels so weird to be done with classes! I start my internship Tuesday, I'm nervous and excited for it to start. I know doing it will be a great experience. Plus it's going to help pass the time until baby boy gets here. :)
