Job Interviews

That's right I finally have had a job interview!!!! I was so excited when I was contacted for one since after two months of looking in Boise, I had nothing to show for it but stress of not having a job. So around the end of April I decided to switch my focus and start looking in Rexburg. It didn't help that something (the spirit) inside me kept telling me in settle ways that I should be looking over there. But my logic got the best of me for a while, considering my parents live in Boise and I only being Tim's girlfriend and not his fiancee or wife didn't have any real reason to move over there, even though I was sure I would end up over there eventually.

The first interview took place on May 8th, at Upper Valley Regional Counseling Center, the job would entail daycare, something that I did for two years at my first job. But alas I didn't get the job. For that weekend I left on Thursday and stayed through Sunday spending the time I wasn't at the interview with Tim or my cousin Cherise. It was lots of fun, I love spending time with both of them. One activity that we did that night after the interview was swimming, pizza, and a marathon of all the Fast and the Furious movies. It was very enjoyable but by the end I was exhausted. Tim had a sleepover that night at Cherise and Karl's (him sleeping in their living room and I in their spare bedroom) because the next morning we got up around 5:30 to watch the sunrise together which was lots of fun and afterwards we fell back to sleep for a couple hours before waking up and having breakfast with Cherise and Karl. The rest of the day Tim and I went to Idaho Falls and ran errands together and then went back to his place to hang out. Then the next day we went to church and then spent a little time together before I headed back to Boise.

The next interview I had on June 1st at Frontier Pies as a dishwasher, I'm still waiting to hear back if I got the job or not. That weekend though I was already in Rexburg, because a friend brought me over there and I just stayed in town for the interview and then came back to Boise on Thursday the 4th with Karl.

I now have one other interview that I'm waiting for which is on Monday the 15th and I really, really want this job, it is in a doctor's office which is where I really want to end up and work as one of the receptionist/secretary. I use to do this in both my internships I had my Senior year so I know that I can do the job, I just might have to learn how to operate their system at first. Wish me best of luck, I really, really need a job!!!!!
