During the week of May 14th-22nd, I was in Rexburg with my friend Brooke playing with Tim and his roommates. Since I knew that Tim was coming to Boise on the 22nd for Memorial Day weekend Brooke went home on the 21st.
Then Tim and I left Friday the 22nd with his sister Brittany. On the way to Boise his truck started having problems with the clutch and wouldn't drive. Tim pulled off the freeway and called his dad for help, his dad didn't know how to fix it with out being there with us. Brittany called their grandpa and luckily he had a friend in Pocatello and he was nice enough to come and get us. When we started heading towards his house the car wouldn't go at all, we pulled off to the side of the freeway. Brittany and I then got out and started pushing the truck down the freeway trying to get it to the exit so that we could meet up with his grandpa's friend. While we were pushing a guy pulled over and offered to tow the turck to where we needed to go. He was really nice and towed us all the way to Tim's grandpa's friend's house. Since it was Friday night and everything was closed for the weekend, we decided to rent a car (a Rav4) for the weekend. Then Tim and Brittany would come back on Tuesday to put the car in the shop. Once we finally made that decision it was four hours later and the time we were planning to be into Boise by, we headed out then and talked the entire car ride over stopping in Burley to grab something to eat since none of us had eaten since noon. Once we finally arrived into Boise it was about 12:45 and all of us were tired. Tim opted for me to stay at his grandparents that night to save time and gas. I was alright with that and ended up on the waterbed with his sister in the room Tim occupied when we first met.
The next morning we all woke up and had breakfast, then headed over to my house to attempt and stop my mom from doing all my chores I had been planning to do but she had already completed them by the time we arrived. So instead we all headed for the different bathrooms and showered. Tim and Brittany went first and then I followed. My sister Elizabeth brought over her kids and we watched them while she went to a sealing for one of her friends. Then once she got back we all headed to the zoo together and it was lots of fun but very rushed since we didn't get there until 4:10 and the zoo closes at 5. After the zoo Brittany, Tim, and I went by their grandparents to drop of Brittany. Then Tim and I went and ran some errands that I needed to get done, and then went over to my friend Kayla's place to hang out.
The next day was Sunday and Tim and I went to my singles branch together and afterwards talked, then headed to my house for dinner. After dinner we spent time talking with my aunt and uncle who were in town and the rest of the regular Sunday crowd. Tim went home around ten and I continued talking with my family.
