The Garlands: Wedding

Monday December 28th,

That was the day of my bachorette party:), All of us girls: Amanda, Elizabeth, Sara, Brooke, Erika, Kendra (tim's sister), Brittany (other sister), Mom, and Me, went out to Shanka's Blacklight Minigolf it was so much fun we had to go in two groups because there was so many of us. After minigolf we decide to go to out to Olive Garden to eat, once we got there we ended up waiting for quite a while, who knew that it would've been so pack on a monday. Once we finally got in we all enjoyed talking and eatting together. We hurried back home so that the boys could go out for tim's bachelor party. Once home we watched Bride Wars together, it was so was somewhat the perfect movie ;) I ended up falling asleep during the movie because the day had been so busy and I was ready for bed!!!!

Tuesday December 29th,

This day I went through the temple for the first time and it was so good!!! I was so happy to have all my siblings there that could be and for my future family to be there with us too. I loved having Time there with me as well. After the temple we all went out to eat and tried to have my other two siblings come and join us but one had a sick kid to take care of and teh other was helping Brooke with the other 5 kids. We had so much fun at JB's talking :) It was one of those moments that you wished more of the family was able to be there but at teh same time you just wanted to enjoy the time you had with those present. Afterwards we went home and Tim grabbed my clothes for the next night/day after, and then went to his grandparents himself. I showered as quick as possible and then Amanda and Elizabeth went to town putting my hair in Curl formers so that the time in the morning to do my hair took less.

These things are awesome for making curls, BUT are not comfortable at all to try and sleep in (Liz and I tried them out on Emily before this day and she slept just fine) anyways part of it could have been the anxiousness I was feeling and being ready for the night to be done and over with so that it could finally be Tim's and My wedding Day.

December 30th, 2009 The Day of the wedding!!!!!

My mom woke me up this morning, nervous that we would be ready in time for us to leave for the temple. I got dressed and while Liz did my hair ate my breakfast. Then I helped my get Emily and Madison dressed. Then mom and I were off to the temple, and because of the 6 inches it snowed the night before it took us quite a while to get there. Once there Dad was at recommend desk and Tim met me inside. We then went and finished getting ready seperately of course and then at 9:30 am we got married for Time and all Eternity :) It was so great I loved having everyone there to support us even one of my favorite Aunts and Uncle came :). After the sealing, we took what felt like a million pictures :) After taking the pictures we then headed over to the lucheon and played with the kids some and even took some more pictures :) Then once the food was done we ate and then had our ring ceremony and even sang happy birthday to Kierstein and Tim's Uncle Bruce. Then afterwards we went to try and take a nap but the proved easier said then done, with 5 kids in the next room. So once that wasn't happening we then got up and went over to take some family pictures with my family, since the chances of us being together again for non-wedding pictures would be slim in the next three years. Then we helped mom finish getting everything ready for the reception and slipped out to get some dinner. Once the photographer showed we took some more pictures and then started the reception. It was fun and I definetly enjoyed seeing friends there. After the reception Tim and I left for the our hotel and eventually fell asleep.
