President's Day weekend

For President's Day weekend I decided to take a break away from Rexburg, unfortunately Tim had to work that weekend so he was stuck here. I on the other hand headed out to Boise with a couple friends, it was a fun car trip over. I stayed with my sister Elizabeth and her family and had so much fun. Friday night, after we got there, I talked with Elizabeth lots and played Settlers of Catan with her and my brother-in-law Joe.

Saturday I worked on some homework and then after the kids went down for a nap, Elizabeth and I headed out to do some shopping. We were gone a very long time but had fun together, we were both tired by the time we got back.  Once we were back home we got busy making dinner, it was delicious. Afterwards we played games of Settlers with Ben and Sara who had come over for dinner, they helped with making it too.

Sunday after church we hung out for a while, until going to Ben and Sara's for dinner. After that and after the kids were in bed Elizabeth and I made some flowers for my nieces Emily and Madison. It was lots of fun and she taught me another easier way to make the flowers using silk flowers.

Monday after breakfast I got ready to go and played with the kids for a little bit, before I left for Rexburg, I had lunch with my best friend Brooke and her husband Tim, which was so much fun, we never see each other long enough. Afterwards I headed back out on the road with one of the girls I brought over, the other got a ride back with her roommate.
It's always so much fun visiting Meridian, and I realize how nice it would be if we lived there. But alas we live in Rexburg while going to school. This time I miss Tim much more then normal, that I was ready to go home sooner then I normally have been! I love my family so much and am thankful that I at least live close enough to visit some of them as much as money will allow.
