Oregon State Zoo

On Monday the 20th we went to the Oregon State Zoo with Kendra. Kendra had one of her friend's meet us there. It was so fun to walk around and see all the different animals. Kenneth saw a few too but didn't really care that much about them. He mostly just took a nap. The zoo took a while to get through. Once we were done there we went back to Tim's parents and Kenneth was spoiled and played with a lot with Tim's family.

Tuesday the 21st, Tim wasn't feeling good and hadn't been, he had some white patches that he saw on the back of his throat and so we decided it was best to got see if he had strep. We went to an urgent care place and they tested him, luckily it came back negative. Afterwards we went back there and Tim rested more. When Tim's mom got home from work, Kenneth and I went with her to their ward activity. It was at this really cool park that had lots of different things to do, we went in the paddle boats, they were hard to stir but we still had a good time. After she was able to talk with a couple people we left. On the way back we stopped at this place that said they had peaches and got some. Once we were back at their place I cleaned one and ate it. It was one of the best peaches I have had fresh in a long time. :) Kenneth even got to eat a fresh peach that we pureed for him.

Wednesday the 22nd Tim was feeling better and Kendra had the day off, so we went with her to the outlet mall. It was so fun to walk around and see different clothing items. If Tim and I had extra money we would've spent a lot of money at some of the stores. Kendra bought Kenneth some new clothes which we were very grateful for. :) They're really cute ones too. Once we were done shopping we went back and Tim rested some more while I watched some Tv and had some dinner, after packing all our bags.

Thursday the 23rd. Was the day for us to fly home. We woke up had something to eat and headed to the airport. The line to check-in took forever and even once we were at the desk that took quite a while. Then security took even more time. Especially since they made me get my hands swabbed to make sure I didn't have explosives or something, because I was carrying Kenneth. All of this led to us missing our flight. I was distress, not know what we would do with Kenneth all day. Luckily the flight attendant was able to get us on a flight for that day. Tim's mom came and got us so that we could hang out at their place while waiting, which was great because Kenneth needed a nap. When we went back to the airport we just had to get through security and we had plenty of time for that. :) Once we made it back to Boise and found all our bags, some made the earlier flight and some got switched to the later one, my grandpa picked us up. He took us back to Tim's grandparents since that's where the van was. We switched the bags over and then talked for a little bit. We made it as far as Burley, which seemed like a really long drive! Once we got to my parents Kenneth was so happy. He let out a little squeal of joy when he saw his grandpa he let out a squeal of delight and did the same when he saw his grandma. :) It was nice to get there and relax knowing we only had a quick 2 hour drive in the morning to make.
