The weekend after Jared got back from his mission, was when he gave his homecoming talk.
We left for Burley after I was done with class on Friday the 21st. It was great to get there at a decent time, but I had to work on homework before I could relax. It was great getting there and letting Kenneth get his nap in. After I was done with part of my homework. Elizabeth, JJ, and I went to the store to get somethings for dinner. We then came back and I worked on some more homework while Elizabeth made dinner. After dinner Caci, Jared's ex-girlfriend, but hopefully not for long arrived and a while later Joe arrived. We ended up watching some movies together that Jared hadn't watched and Tim and I owned. Then we went to bed.
Saturday we woke up and had yummy muffins for breakfast. Elizabeth made them all, while Tim and I supplied the mixes. After breakfast I went and finished up an assignment and then we all went out Geocaching. We only were able to find 4 of the 6 we looked for before we went back to mom and dad's. When we got back I finished the last of my homework assignments. Then Elizabeth and I got dinner started. We had a pasta bar and it was so yummy! After dinner we just relaxed watching some tv shows that dad wanted to watch. Then eventually we all went to bed.
Sunday when we woke we had pancakes for breakfast. They were delicious. After breakfast everyone slowly got ready. Church was good and Kenneth was pretty happy the entire time, until Sacrament was almost over, which was last and when Jared was giving his talk, luckily the partition was open into the gym so I was able to stand back there with him and listen. After church was over we went back to mom and dad's and had a yummy dinner. It was fun there because my Aunt Ruby and Uncle Joel came and Aunt Jainie and Uncle Bill came with their daughter Carrie, her husband Ryan, and their little girl Abby. We were all able to talk and have a good time together. After they had left, Tim and I decided it was time for us to get going too.
It was an overall great weekend. Kenneth had a little cold going on with the beginnings of an ear infection :(, luckily I followed my instincts and took him into the doctor. The PA put him on antibiotics and by Sunday you could tell Kenneth was feeling lots better. :)
