Friday the 24th, Tim, Kenneth, Jared and I headed out of town to Boise again. Kenneth did so awesome in the car this time around! Once we made it to Boise we dropped Jared off at Grandpa's and Carol's. Plus let Kenneth crawl around before making him ride in the car again. We decided to go to the mall and were able to get Kenneth some things. After grabbing a bite to eat there we went back to Tim's grandparents. It was already past Kenneth's bed time but we let him stay up since everyone was there talking and saying hi to one another.
Saturday the 25th I woke and had a class meeting. Then I convinced Tim's cousin to do my hair. We then headed to the train depot. There we meet all of Tim's family to do family pictures. It was a nice day out. It was hard though because no one knew it was my birthday so I was feeling a little sad about that (Katie remembered though.). After pictures we went back to Tim's grandparents and got ready for Tim's Grandpa's Birthday party. Again it was good to hang out with all of his cousins and get to talk to and get to know some that I didn't know. After the party, Katie, Brittany, Kenneth, and I went out shopping. I did awesome out shopping! After we got back we went down to the park and played. After that we all went to Fancy Freeze. There someone had told Tim's cousins it was my birthday and they sang to me. It was embarassing to say the least since there were others there besides his family. Once we were back I opened the presents Tim's sisters, brother, sister-in-law, and mom got me. I was certainly spoiled this year and they got me things that I had wanted, Tim claims he hadn't told them about anything. After that I worked on homework before bed.
Sunday the 26th we went to church with Katie and AJ. We left after Sacrament. I had expected to go out to see Grandpa and Carol but Tim decided to put Kenneth down for a nap. After he woke up we headed to Grandpa's and Carol's for dinner. Once there we talked for a while before eating. Carol can cook! It was so yummy. After dinner Tim helped them set up some of their computer things. After he was done with that we talked for a while longer before going back to Tim's grandparents this time Jared came with us. Once back we talked and hung out with Tim's family that was still there, before going to bed ourselves.
Monday the 27th we had a lazy morning, before getting ready and heading back. We took the back roads again to get back home. Only Tim decided to turn off on another back road to get to Rexburg from Idaho Falls that we had never before gone on. It was interesting but took way longer then normal. After we were back and after dropping Jared off we headed to do some shopping. While there Tim realized his plan for dinner was foiled when he decided to take that alternate route.
It was a great trip and I'm glad we went, it was fun finally getting to meet some of Tim's cousins I never had met before. It's funny for me though, Tim only has 10 cousins on that side and Tim has probably met all but one of my 30 plus cousins on my Dad's side. :)
