Tim got offered an internship in Utah this summer! At AgReserve doing Assist Admin stuff. Have no idea what that even means. He starts May 1st and will move down there. For the month of May he's staying at his Aunt and Uncle's while they're in Europe. Then he's going to stay with my sister Elizabeth. It's a 3 month internship, so ends the end of July, possibly sometime in August. We're still working on that detail.
I'm on the other hand am going to my parents' place in Burley. I'm excited to go to have the chance of my mom being there and I really like the doctor she works with that will deliver the baby. We didn't want to worry about my insurance that's through my mom's work, not transferring well across state lines. I wanted to see a doctor I knew. I know all of them have the same certification but with life already being crazy for this time, that was something I needed a doctor I trusted and my mom.
We're so glad Tim has an internship and although the 3 months will be hard, I know they will go by super fast. Plus it's only a 3 hour drive between my parents and my sister's, so he'll be able to come visit and Kenneth and I will be able to go there, which will happen as we love spending time with the Neratko cousins! As much as we would have loved staying together, we just couldn't imagine bombarding any aunts and uncles or my sister's family with the three of us and a newborn baby. We've done the apart thing before for much longer while engaged and didn't even see each other as much as we plan on this time!
We considered keeping a place here in Rexburg, but didn't want a glorified storage unit as I wouldn't want to stay here alone with the kids, as awesome as our friends are they have families too. My parents have a house that is really perfect for us to go there. One bedroom has a queen in it where the baby and I will stay. The other has bunk beds which Kenneth already sleeps on when we go visit. These two rooms are also on the opposite side of the house from my parents' room, so if baby boy has a rough night I won't feel like I'm keeping up mom and dad.
We're so thankful that my mom and dad are willing to let Kenneth and I come stay with them and I know they'll be a big help after the baby comes. We're also thankful Elizabeth and Joe offered their home to Tim as it has helped ease the pain of finding a 3 month lease or breaking one, which we have never done and are trying not to. This will also allow us to save a lot of money and then be able to make the big move to where ever Tim gets a job, if it's not through this company.
We'll be using a storage unit for our big things we're keeping and of course those small little things we don't need while we're gone. We're trying to condense that all down to as small as possible.
This is really what has consumed so much of our thoughts and time when not working on homework the last month, especially when we'll start moving in a month and half. Still so excited!
