Weekend Getaway

Back in at the Beginning of February Tim and I were able to go on a Getaway with some friends. Tim's Co-worker Matt's wife Jessica won the getaway from one of the local radio station.

We left Saturday February 1st around noon with Jessica and Matt, dropping Kenneth off at our friend Tiffany's. The drive was very enjoyable and I had fun getting to know Jessica and Matt a little better. We met up with the other two couples, Matt and Jessica invited. We got checked in at the Shoshone-Bannock Hotel, and put our thing in our room, which was very nice.

After getting checked in the girls got to go the spa. We had the choice between a facial or a massage. I wanted the massage but being pregnant I was only allowed to do the facial. It was still good though. Jessica and I were able to talk a lot while waiting as the other two girls were getting their massage and facial done. It was so fun to talk after we were all done we spent a little bit of time in the Sauna.

While we were gone the boys all got together and spent time playing video games together. They sounded like they had a lot of fun. After we all got back we went to dinner at the resturant. We had a good time all talking and interacting.

After dinner we went swimming and that was so much fun. It was nice to feel light weight and not feel the weight from the baby. Unfortunately after swimming and doing a little hot tubing I broke out in a rash. :( I showered when we got back but still had it for a few days after. Same thing happened when I was pregnant with Kenneth. After the shower we went to bed, I was tired.

Sunday we woke up and went to breakfast. Then we played games together. Then we all went to church. lds.org had the wrong information so we actually missed the last Sacrament meeting. We then went back had lunch and then played more games with Matt and Jessica. The other two couples left from the church building. We then a couple hours later went to dinner and watched the Superbowl. It was so great to watch. Dinner was good as well. After the Superbowl was over we packed up and went back home. We picked up Kenneth, he was glad to see mommy and daddy.

We had such a great time, getting away and just spending time together.
