Name

Many people know that I knew Thomas's first name long before he was born. Before we even knew he was a boy. I decided to just look for ideas of names, and one place I looked is at all the names of the first presidency and quorum of the twelve. While looking Thomas Spencer stuck out to me. So much so that my inclinations of him being a girl went away.

When we found out he was a boy, I really wanted his name to be Thomas Spencer. Tim and I had to discuss though. He had names he wanted too, mainly Adolph Cristofori after the inventors of the saxophone and piano. I think he held out agreeing to Thomas just because he could, plus we didn't really discuss it being busy with school.

The middle name took a while to decide on. I still wanted Spencer, Tim wanted James.

We finally figured out Thomas's middle name as LeRoy while I was in Labor. May 28th is Tim's grandpa's birthday and LeRoy is his middle name. Tim had suggested it as a middle name before but I just wasn't sure about it.

We weren't positive I would deliver that day so we said if Thomas was born the 28th LeRoy would be his middle name if not we would pick another. LeRoy is also my great-grandpa Mefford's middle name so LeRoy just seemed perfect.
