Monday the 20th, we were planning on heading to Vancouver, early, early but that didn't happen apperently the roads were suppose to be really bad that day so we kept an eye on the roads, we took a look every hour or so and they were looking good so we decided to get the car all packed up and head out while we still would have decent light. Just as that happened Tim's mom called and told us to wait until the next day.
Because of this we were able to go decorate gingerbread houses with my family that night and I was glad to do so since I thought we were going to miss it. I always love spending time with my siblings and their kids to. They are so stinking cute, ;) it's hard to believe how fast they're growing up. My sister took the pictures of the houses and I don't know what happened to my camera, so I don't have any. Once we were done decorating we headed back to Tim's grandparents for the night.
Tuesday the 21st we woke up at 5 am and headed out shortly there after. Tim and I only managed to sleep from just past caldwell area to Baker City, so two hours. we stopped in Penelton to get gas and then continued onward. We managed to make it to Vanvouver by about 10 pacific. the main reason we left so early is Tim's brother AJ and sister Brittany had dentist appoints that afternoon and didn't want to reschedule them. after everyone was done unloading Brittany's pathfinder we all at one point showered and some of us managed to get a nap in as well. After a little bit I went with Brittany and Tim's Mom to Jo-anns to get yarn and a couple other stores to check things out and get me some almond milk so I could have cereal for breakfast when needed.
Wednesday the 22nd Brittany and I spent the day crafting, I crochet'd while Brittany made a mail box out of that plastic grid stuff that you sew yarn in and out of the boxes. (I hope that makes sense because I can't explain it any other way.) I was crocheting granny squares to make a Christmas boot (that's what they use instead of other type of stockings) The mail box is where Santa brings you a crisp one dollar bill :). It actually ended up taking a couple days to finish my boot, and it still has a couple more things I could do to it.
Thursday the 23rd we all woke up had breakfast, showered and then Tim, Kendra, Tim's Dad, and I went over to hp where Tim's dad works to print off some photos. Afterwards we all came back and chilled for the rest of the day at their house. Tim did decorate a gingerbread house with his mom and Brittany. While he was doing that I read out of my book, I'm wanting to finish before school starts.
Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th Christmas I'll talk about those adventures in another post.
Sunday the 26th we went to church with Tim's family, which was sparse in numbers, (I find it always interesting how that happens, is everyone visiting the same place and making a couple wards big?) After church we came back and finished up making dinner and ate. Afterwards Tim and I were just relaxing cuddling in our bed and both ended up sleeping for a little bit, me way longer then him. (fighting off a cold or something) After I woke up I relaxed some more with Tim's mom Cheryl and sister Brittany watching some chick flicks.
