Christmas for us

As promised here's our Christmas adventures, warning there are lots of pictures.

At Tim's house they do Christmas a little different then I'm use to. Every night they have you unwrap a Christmas book and then someone reads it. For Christmas Eve they have fried chicken and mash potatoes for dinner. then afterwards they watch Mr Kroger's Christmas. After that is when the open up presents from each other. This year was by far the most presents I've ever gotten and I got a lot of things that I've been wanting for a long time but just didn't have the money for.

Tim got me a peacoat and necklace.
Brittany got me a Nativity scene.
Kendra (Tim's sister) got me a bracelet, necklace, flower hair clip,
(all from Hawaii)

and some shampoo.

Tim's parents got me a pair of rain boots, rain boot liners,
two sets of mittens/gloves?, a pearl necklace with earrings, Pajama Pants (we all wore a new pair that night)
the time traveler's wife,
slippers,

and standing for something.

plus I received some Kohl's cash for 40 dollars that i get to go buy me at least one pair if not two of boots :)

Tim got a couple t-shirts, belts, a printer, a book, a statue of the Hawaiian god of money and a couple movies.

Tim's parents got us snow traxs

After we were done opening present we all just hung out together until bed time. Tim and i had been sleeping in the room that had the Christmas tree in it so that night we got moved to Tim's and Aj's bedroom. Christmas morning we woke up and one by one went in to see what Santa brought us.

I got a flat iron :), Uno, and Bride Wars (which we'll be exchanging, as we already own it)

and then tons of goodies in my stocking.
Tim got a roll-up keyboard which he was pretty excited about, Tim's parents said that it was since a real keyboard was too much.

after a little looking through his instructions though for the roll-up keyboard there was a picture of a real one in there.......

that is waiting for us to come back to Boise to get. Tim is excited and I hope this means he'll practice more.

We definitely had a great Christmas I'll say it was weird not doing everything I'm use to doing each Christmas. Especially not being around my family. It gave me time to look back and realize how much fun I've been bless with having my family around, at least most of it.
