Ok so this picture is just awesome, I love guys in the Indian Jones style of hat. Part of it is probably because my dad would wear this same style especially to Rodeos and I just wanted Tim to try it out and he looks good too.The real reason for this post is to say some good things about my hunny. Seeing how this is our anniversary and all.
1. He's working to help take care of our expenses. (this last semester he did a job that he didn't really enjoy, but stuck with it.)
2. He's going to school to become a Mechanical Engineer. He's really excited to get done, that may be a few more years, but we'll both be thankful when it's done.
3. He works hard around our apartment to help keep it in order.
4. Whenever I am sick he always takes care of me to help me feel better.
5. He allowed me to quit my job at Qwest when he could tell that I could not handle it emotionally any more.
6. He's a great piano player and saxophone player, we're hoping that he'll be able to continue with playing them. It's a stress reliever for him, which I'm okay with.
7. He love, love, loves to play video games not always my favorite but during school it's a good break for him.
8. He's good at listening to me when I have concerns and we work together to solve any and all problems.
9. He loves to cuddle with me and will hold me during the night. Anyone who knows me, knows I love to cuddle.
I could think of many more things to say, but right now I'm fighting back a cold of some sort and it's affecting my brain.
Throughout our first year
1. we've managed to move all of my possessions and most of his to Rexburg.
2. Lived in two different apartments, love the one we're in now :)
3. have gotten to know some great people in our ward and so glad we've become friends with so many of them.
4. Got a calling at church for sending out emails. :) we would never mind another more involved one.
5. Made a few trips back and forth to Boise, and a couple to Vancouver, WA
6. Tim completed 2 semesters of school ;)
7. Rachel was able to go to the Pacific Ocean for the first time (ever in her life) with Tim and his family.
8. Rachel learned how to crochet and has been going crazy doing so since then.
9. Rachel also managed to sew together 3 quilt tops, completed one of those
There were many other things we did that aren't quite as exciting. ;)
Happy 1st anniversary Tim, It's been a great 1st year and I'm excited for many others with you.
