Utah Fun!

This past weekend Tim and I decided to make a trip down to Utah, to see the newest addition to the Mefford family Kylee and to see the other nieces and nephews. It was a blast!

Friday we left after Tim got back home from a work meeting. The ride from Rexburg to Murray is so much faster then the trip from Rexburg to Meridian. Plus doesn't use as much gas! Once we made it to Elizabeth and Joe's who moved down here at the beginning of the month, we brought in our things and talked with everyone. The kids carved pumpkins with the help of Elizabeth which look awesome. Then the kids went off to bed and Tim and I sat and talked with Elizabeth and Joe after Ben and Sara left. We all eventually went to bed.

Saturday we woke up and had breakfast and then everyone got ready and we went to a monster block party down in Salt Lake City. They had lots of cool things for the kids to do that were all free. There was decorating a Halloween bag, decorating sugar cookies, some animals to pet, and ponies to ride. Plus all the booths that were set up had candy for the kids to get. There also were some booths that had games for the kids to play as well. Ben, Sara, Kaidyn, and Kylee met us there and we had so much fun. After that was over Tim and I went to Tucanos, to redeem his free birthday meal, and Tim was in heaven. He loves eating there and stated that getting to taste real Brazilian food was worth the cost. :) Afterwords we also walked around the shopping mall that Tucanos was in and picked up a couple things we needed. Then we went  back to Elizabeth and Joe's and went to Costco with them and Ben and Sara. I love going to Costco and wish we had one closer then an hour plus away. We were able to pick up more wipes for our stockpile for cheaper then normal. After Costco we all headed back to Elizabeth and Joe's and Elizabeth made us yummy dinner. I worked on some homework before and after dinner. Then Elizabeth and I made some cute Halloween lanterns, more finished because she had already started them with Sara.

Sunday we slept in and that was great. Then we had breakfast, then got ready for church, had lunch before church and then headed out to church. After church we finished packing up the car and then headed back to Rexburg. Once back we just enjoyed relaxing at home.
