Stake Conference

This past weekend was fun, busy, and went by incredibly fast. Tim worked on Friday from 8-4:30 so when I was done with school, I finished my last homework assignment and then was able to relax the entire weekend! This hasn't happened since the semester began I always had some homework to finish up. So I fully enjoyed relaxing. I even finished a hat I made for a little girl in our ward, and started one for her baby sister that was born this last week. I forgot how little they are when they're first born! Tim and I enjoyed the evening together and just ate what I had made in my Culinary Arts Lab. It was delicious. Around 8:30 I went to go workout with my friends and Tim played magic with his friends. When we got back Leah made us a yummy smoothie. Jared my little brother arrived and came to their place for a little bit and then we headed back home. We talked for a little bit mostly me explaining how to take care of Kenneth the next day so that Jared didn't feel comfortable. Then I went to bed.

Saturday Tim had to work from 7-3:30 and I had a field trip from 8-4 but had to be at the school at 7:45. Which is why Jared had come. So I left on my field trip and had a lot of fun looking at everything they showed us. It took forever it felt at first and I was just counting down the time until we were done and heading back. Luckily I had girl from the Treasure Valley sitting next to me on the bus and so we were able to talk about lots of different things and it wasn't until the trip home that we stopped talking because we were both tired. Once I got back home Jared and I went and ran a couple of much needed errands. Tim came home while we were gone and we went to eat shortly there after. When we came back the boys played video games while I did my own thing. Then Tim and I headed to bed and watched a show before falling asleep.

Sunday, Tim worked again from 7-3:30. Jared left around 8 so he could get back for his ward. I woke up and got Kenneth and I ready for church, which was stake conference. I was so nervous about going for 2 hours all by myself. Luckily I was able to sit by the Welch's and others in our ward. Kenneth and Karrin entertained each other for a while. Before the meeting came started our stake president, President Call came and shook all of our hands and Karrin and Kenneth were standing close to each other and he asked "Are you two going to get married one day?" we all laughed since we always joke that they're boyfriend/girlfriend.
Stake Conference was great and there was a lot of great talks. Afterwards I went back home and hung out before going Visiting Teaching. Then came home and luckily Tim arrived home shortly there after. We just enjoyed the rest of the evening together.
