Children's Sewing!

Let me just say I love love love taking this class!!!! it has been so much fun to learn how to make clothes for kids! Thus far we have made hat and booties.


The hat was so easy to do, only stressful part was making sure the seams at the top lined up. and here it is:

The booties were also easy to get done, but there was a little bit of a stressful part when we had to put ribbing (the part that goes around the ankle) onto the top. That was the first time, the second time sewing it felt so very easy! Here's a picture of those:

My teacher is amazing and I love that she's so very patient with everyone and doesn't criticize anyone who messes up. She always seems to give us the hard part first, which I'm sure she enjoys watching all of us struggle, wondering how it's going to possibly turn out, but it always does :)
