This past weekend was my mom's family reunion. We were the ones in charge so we had spent some of the previous weekend preparing for it. I stayed with my parents after getting back from the parents because Tim and I realized we didn't have the extra money to make the trip down by ourselves. It was hard being so close yet so far away from Tim. Friday the 3rd we woke up around 7 and left to go to Utah. I love that mom and dad live close enough that it's not a horribly long trip for us to go down there especially with Kenneth. When we got there we went straight to Elizabeth's. She was working on Emily's birthday cake and mom helped while I sat and played a game and talked. It was fun and after a while we left to go down to Provo where the reunion was at to prepare some of the things for a little bit. After wards we went to dinner with Dean and Amanda. It was fun to relax and eat and not worry and just enjoy our time together. After Dinner Dean and Amanda gave Kenneth and I a ride back to my Aunt Janine and Uncle Bill's. Once there I put Kenneth down for his nap and then watched the Olympics with them. It was really fun to do and I loved my uncle's commentary throughout the whole thing. :) Once my aunt and uncle were ready for bed I talked to my cousin Jamie for a couple hours. It was so fun and I loved catching up with her.
The next morning Kenneth and I got up and ready with time to spare before Amanda came and got me. Aunt Janine and Uncle Bill had things they were going to go do but stuck around with me until she got there. :) Once Amanda was there we left and went back to her parents place. We then headed down to Provo after the car was packed and ready to go, which was a much longer drive then we were all thinking it would be. Once we got to Provo it was time for the reunion to start. People started slowly showing up and everyone just wanted to talk. Even after mom and dad said what the plans were we spent majority of the time talking. It was so much to catch up with all my cousins and my aunts and uncles were there. The best part was seeing Tim when he got there. :) Once we were ready to leave we all headed back to mom and dad's hotel room. There we celebrated Emily's birthday, it was so fun. I even got to talk to Joe alone which doesn't always happen like we use to do when I was living at Mom and Dad's. After cake we all went swimming in the hotel's pool, besides Mom, Dad, and Asher. Kenneth liked the water much better then the lake water. :) It felt cold at first, but slowly was perfect swimming water. At one point Ben was holding both Kenneth and Kylee and they were having so much fun just splashing in the water together. Kylee even got sad when I took Kenneth back from Ben. :) After we were done swimming we all went back up to the room and watched some Olympics. Then Liz and Joe took us back to Aunt Janine's and Uncle Bill's and that was one tightly packed car. :)
Sunday mom called and told us they were on their way so we quickly got ready and then went over to Elizabeth and Joe's before heading to church. Kenneth despite not having a nap was great throughout sacrament meeting which was very nice. Afterwards we stopped back by Aunt Janine's and Uncle Bill's because they wanted to see Mom and Dad. Which ended up in us eating dinner with them. :) which was nice since we were so hungry. When we were almost back to mom and dad's Tim decided it was best for us to stay there for the night because it would be a late late night for Kenneth if we didn't.
Monday we woke up, ate breakfast, and then after packing up the car headed back home. It felt so nice to be back home after being away for over a week.
